I dunno, it might be. I've studied it for 7 years in school and went to school in Paris for a semester. That helped me the most. I got drunk with locals and they taught me all sorts of dirty words.You'd be surprised how fluent you get when you're piss drunk, haha. Plus the majority of my family speak French, so when we all get together I get to practice.
