all of the Z32 brakes will fit a 240sx. i believe all of the 28mm calipers are iron, and the 30mm ones come in either iron or aluminum. regardless of which you get they bolt onto the mounts properly, the rotors can be re-drilled for 4 lug or you can convert your car to 5 lug and they go on fine, all you really truly need is some conversion lines to finish the job.

The 26's come in aluminum also, thats what I have. I just ordered them for a 1990 non-turbo model to insure they would be aluminum. To get aluminum 30's its a wildcard type of thing if you order them blind.

TopHat performance in Conyers(?) has a really good deal on the conversion lines and they are DOT.

so the 28mm is for a 90 non turbo z32 and its aluminum. hmmm so which one is it? aluminum or iron. Im hearing 2 different information if not i'm not listening correctly. I have a s14 SE so I don't have to worry about doing a 5 lug conversion. But thanx for the info though. XP

All I know is if you order 1990 non-turbo calipers you will get aluminum 26mm's. Aluminum calipers have cooling fins on the sides. Heres a link to a page that gives a lot of good info.

you can take your old 240sx brakes to autozone and get the 30mm iron z32 brakes for $46 after the core charge. if you dont care about nissan being cast into the side of em thats what i would do. thats what i was gonna do but my gts-t clip came with brakes so i didnt have to.

First off there are no 28MM 300ZX calipers there are 28MM Q45 calipers which is another option. For the 300ZX the 26mm came in aluminum only in 1990. That is it There is no other year 26mm calipers were made. The rest of the calipers are 30mm and depending on year are aluminum or iron. Also if you use the Goodridge SS lines you don't have to get conversion lines for the front. The Goodridge lines have a shorter banjo bolt than stock lines and fit perfectly. I found this out a couple years ago and have had no problems with the setups I have done...
