why do you want such a high redline?? so you can rev up at people?
No I want to build a motor that builds alot of N/A power but at the same time use the motor that came with my car. I know if i put the cams in that I want, the motor wont make power until later in the rpm range probably right when the stock redline is (stock is 6500). So i want to build my block to beable to handle all the way up to at least 8000 without going vtec. I just have to figure out the difference between h23's and h22's to find out why h22's can rev so high.
