radiator leaking
i think the radiator has a small hole or a crack. is there some way of fixing it or do i have to replace the whole thing. right now the system wont buld up pressure on the cooling system. i have no idea what to check or replace.
oh and the car does NOT overheat

call 1800 radiator, they're life time warranty, cheap, sometimes it comes with a cap, and they deliver. ask the salesman to send a bag of candy too buwhaha
You can test it like you test for leaks in tires... get a little soapy water and look for the bubbles. I usually don't recommend repairing them, but I have repaired one of the plastic ones using some leftover fiberglass from a previous project. I rough sanded the area around the crack (1.5 inches around it), and created a patch out of the fiberglass. A little high temp paint on it and it looked great. It lasted at least 2 years and was working fine when I eventually sold the car.
I was lucky enough not to have a crack on a seam though. If a seam is separeted or cracked, Id throw in the towel.

how can that help me? i already know that it isnt building up enough pressure and the pressure tester can only be connected in one place.There is a Pressure Tester that you can buy, This will help you to find the leak, And it Depends were the leak is... for that i would have to take the whole thing out which im trying to avoid
ive heard of that method but not sure if i trust it, i dont want to clogg up parts of the system that dont need to be
So you know where the leak is or not... You would use this tool to find your leak also to find other troubles Example: (Blowed head gasket, Bad cap, Bad Rad,ETC...), Not saying you have a blowed gasket just making a Point..
need more info like:
Is it ACTUALLY leaving coolant on the ground? is it CONSUMING coolant?
If its a honda, dont be cheap and just buy a new one they run $100 and if its more than 5-8 years old, replace it anyway

its dripping down on the ground and its a 2001 jeep grand cherokee with a 4.7L V8, and the leak is coming from the radiator area. its dripping down from the plastic covering by the bumper and when i open the hood it looks like its on the drivers side since there are drops of coolant on the air box
also i know its not building pressure because when i squeeze on the hose that goes from the block to the radiator its soft when engine is got and running, not hard like it should be
sounds like either your radiator has a leak, hose has a leak
actually to me it sounds like your water pump. CHarles has a jeep an his did the exact same thing, leaks like a bitch, an his hose had no pressure an it was his water pump.
If you dont add coolant, it WILL overheat, since it will at some time get air in the system

we just bought the car for a great price because of the leak and now its just sitting here until its fixed, i really hope its not the water pump, i guess i just ahve to start taking it apart to find out what i need

integras, i have found out personally and on research thru team-integra.net, that the plastic top aluminum core factory radiators have a tendency to crack up at the top.
just replace it. i replaced/upgraded mine to an all aluminum one that i found on ebay for 142, and it works great
my integra got a new radiator last year but its not my integra. Its on a jeep grand cherokee
