    Default Finnaly got my bike!

its been a on going search to try and find a bike that was in my taste and price range...

the night i got it home...

Night shot of the night led's.... they're bright as hell going down the road...

i got bored and decided to slap on the scorpion exhaust that i got with the bike, it was just one of the extras that came with it...

although i have to hand it to who ever went through the task of polishing the frame, they did a fantastic job, and i even like the GUCCI fabric on the seats... but i still have a few plans for it though....... ill keep y'all posted....

Are those mirrors even usable? I see them all the time and thought about getting some but wasn't sure if they were even worth the purchase.

I never really used my mirrors anyways but was wondering. I figured you couldn't see shit and they were only there to say you had some in case you got pulled over or something.

well as far as the legality, you really don't need mirrors and or signals, as long as you look over your shoulder and use hand signals you could get away with the bear minimal...

not in GA the code states you must have working turn signals and mirrors

now back in 1920 I would agree with you , state laws change every year .Matter fact GSP is on the look out with bikes with NO mirrors , Don't ask how I know this .

    Turn signals are required:
§ 40-8-25. Brake lights and turn signals required

    (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to sell any motor vehicle manufactured after January 1, 1954, including any motorcycle or motor driven cycle manufactured after January 1, 1954, in this state or for any person to drive such vehicle on the highways unless it is equipped with at least one brake light meeting the requirements of Code Section 40-8-26.

    (b) If a motor vehicle is manufactured with two brake lights, both must be operational.

    (c) No person shall sell or offer for sale or operate on the highways any motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer registered in this state and manufactured or assembled after January 1, 1954, unless it is equipped with mechanical or electrical turn signals meeting the requirements of Code Section 40-8-26. This subsection shall not apply to any motorcycle or motor driven cycle manufactured prior to January 1, 1972.

    HISTORY: Ga. L. 1953, Nov.-Dec. Sess., p. 556, § 108; Code 1933, § 68E-206, enacted by Ga. L. 1982, p. 165, § 4; Code 1981, § 40-8-25, enacted by Ga. L. 1982, p. 165, § 10.

Do you know what the code is for mirrors? I cannot find a requirement.

    § 40-8-72. Mirrors

    (a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this Code section, every motor vehicle which is so constructed or loaded as to obstruct the driver's view to the rear thereof from the driver's position shall be equipped with a mirror so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway for a distance of at least 200 feet to the rear of such vehicle.

    (b) Every commercial motor vehicle shall be equipped with two rear-vision mirrors meeting the requirements of the federal motor vehicle safety standards contained in 49 C.F.R. 571.111 in effect at the time of manufacture, one at each side, firmly attached to the outside of the motor vehicle, and so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway to the rear, along both sides of the vehicle; provided, however, that only one outside mirror shall be required, which shall be on the driver's side, on a commercial motor vehicle which is so constructed that the driver has a view to the rear by means of an interior mirror.

    HISTORY: Ga. L. 1953, Nov.-Dec. Sess., p. 556, § 118; Code 1933, § 68E-403, enacted by Ga. L. 1982, p. 165, § 4; Code 1981, § 40-8-72, enacted by Ga. L. 1982, p. 165, § 10; Ga. L. 2011, p. 479, § 15/HB 112.

those bikes were a beast back in the day but chassis was to big for a 1200cc motor. The 10r and zx14 put it in the dust. They will be collector bikes someday..what did you end up getting it for?
