Lake Allatoona sound pretty good. I am not sure how many people would want to drive that far north for a BBQ though.
So we have one place that is in Fayetteveiile and one place at Allatoona. If there is a place more centralized, such as East Roswell Park. We need to find it soon. Or if we want to vote between one of these three locations, that would be fine.
Its not that far north. not too far from my house. Inbetween whoever is comin from the south and tennesee.
OK this thread seems to have lost its flare....thuis is still gonna happen, but we need to pic a place soon. I think that the 2nd Saturday in March will be perfect, we just need to agree on location.

Well it is more than an hour from me. Why do people always have to complain about driving distances? I drive more than an hour and a half to goto V meets, and I am helping to plan a BBQ that is way farther away from my house than 1 hour.

Chips
Chicken (wings legs breasts strips)
That is just to get the idea in your heads of how to have a BBQ.

for those who dont know where the lake is, we can meet up @ my work and cruise up from there. BP on mars hill/41. Get off on barrett, take a left towards 41 and take a right on 41 and go north for 7.5 miles
