I posted that and the RULES read.

Tires must be DOT stamped. Full race slicks are not allowed.

Listen guys, this is an event designed around STREET cars. Yes, there's been race cars there before. Yes, there are race cars that run there. But believe me, they don't get to compete in the quick 8 to maintain everything as even as possible. It's not meant to be a trailer queen shoot out. As a matter of fact, the caravan UP there from the V at 8 a.m. is sometimes just as fun as driving on the track. It's meant for you to DRIVE up there in YOUR car and run it. Atleast that's the idea.

Last year there was a time when someone protested because a "race" car was gonna beat him. We didn't let it run because he didn't have a passenger seat, although he would've definetly spanked the other guy.

The idea is to have fun, race your buddies, and maybe get a little recognition in the process. Besides, put some drag radials and come on out. We always have good time and get to run as many times as we want. They even have the race gas pumps open and working. Hell, they even had the scales open and working last time too.

Silver Dollar is not stuffy like Commerce. They let you have a good time.

That "dude" is hotter than any chick you will ever get for one.
On top of that, that "dude" STARTED this event 7 years ago and was nice enough to ask SELOC to partner for it
That "dude" puts countless hours into this incredible event.

My suggestion is take your ass to the varsity in your ride and say "the ricers are here" when YOU are the got damn ricer.

    1. You are more than welcome to come. Its nice to come watch some serious metal out there put down some serious times. You would be welcome to park in front with us.
    2. You might get inspired to run. A great time to get some "baseline" runs in before you mod your car. Its also an experience everyone needs to try once. GET THOSE SLIPS!!!
    3. As for Columbia we have a few members there but never had a meet there. Seems you are volunteering to be our Columbia Senator

    hey i wouldn't mind

it'd be something to do while procrastinating studying for midterms in college. from what i hear its a pretty decent sized city, not as big as atlanta ofcourse, but happening none the less.

might be going to Talahassee though for college, i'm torn between USC and FSU on where to go for the next four years, kinda big decision

how does that work for me to do a baseline run?
it would be nice to know my stock time to do comparisons for my mods, do i just talk to you and go whenever someone else isn't or do i pay money or sign something or what?

think u could hit me up with ur # or sumtin so i can contact you the day of this and come hang with you guys, i'd prob bring a friend with me in my car if thats cool

Baseline run just means what your car ran before you started modding it. So when you add things, change wheels etc, you can track it again and hope it improves your times.
Its very important to see what you drove as stock as possible.

    You can pre-register here
    http://www.southeasttrackday.com/
Which is cheaper than registering the day off and you get a tire pressure gauge!

Who the hell r u Mario Andretti? Jeff Gordan?
    damn.

Well, if you didn't notice from my sig.. I'm A modified Stealth R/T.. (FWD) and at that time, happen to be the 3rd quickest FWD 3/s

Second, since I attained this setup, I have never made a run over 14 psi for the fact that my ECU was fried and I was unaware (I was under the impression I was getting spark blow out) Ask anyone at the last event about the popping my car would make going down the track.. if you don't believe me, and I even regapped my plugs at the event to .020" .. lol

I also said "I look forward to bettering that quickest FWD time by a decent amount," now that the problem is fixed..

Come out to the event this year if you want to see what my setup is really capable of

Well, our cookout the night before is in Peachtree City and we normally don't have an official hotel. Some of the guys asked me to find one and since they were going to the cookout in PTC, I found that hotel in PTC right down from the cookout. There are tons of hotels down by the track that are really cheap too. I posted links on southeasttrackday.com

The actually meeting spot to caravan is the Varsity at 8am!!
