Halfwit, why aren't you lowering and doing exhaust yourself? You bum! I've got a spring compressor if you need... I did mine, they're not bad. Almost lost my nuts on one of them, though...

And that's sad seeing that one in the background...

My car's out and on the street. She's pretty quick...just needs some tuning and touching, now!

cause i work from 7am til 9pm,weekdays and 7am til 6pm on saturdays. it would cost me more to stay home and do it myself. plus i have no welding material, and hard to get my hands on 3 in. piping, then bend it.

the one in the back helps my other to be perfect. using many parts from it.

    pretty quick? lets run.

You don't happen to have a black center vent in it do you...?

Yeah, it's quick...at least quicker than it was...by alot. I'd love to run you, but I'll tell you straight up she's not fully ready yet. The timing is advanced by about 10degrees. I think the guy that had the engine before me thought he'd be cute and advance it by jumping teeth witht he timing belt, but I don't believe in stuff like that and it's hurting my low-end. In addition, I think my throttle cable make-shift bracket is preventing me from putting the pedal to the floor. It's just a zip-tie.

Not making excuses, I'll still play with you, I just don't know that she's running her best. She may be...but I'd like to see this much done to it before I accept a defeat. I went against an LS1 Trans Am last night with it as is, and I held til he hit about 3rd gear and he started peeling away. We got to the next light, rolled windows down and he asked if I was turbo'd. I smiled and said "nope...NA all the way!" Then told him it'd just come out of the garage and I wouldn't mind running into him later when I fixed the minor errors, but it was fun and I'll see him around. He was cool for a domestic! Rare to find!

Oh..in addition my shifting is off because I am NOT used to this long of a power band...I'm used to redline being like...what is it in the d15, 6700, isn't it? I don't know...I never used a tach, and I'm not using one now. In order for one to drive his best, he should know his car better than to have to watch a meter...

Makes me hate you, but business is business...

Yeah, I'm down for doing some passes as we both build. Should be fun. Well...it will be as long as we stay non-competitive with it. Hmm...nevermind, I lied. How about SEMI-competitive? LoL

I ended up just going with an LS motor. I'm keeping it all stock for now until I work out all the kinks from the swap. Once that's done..it'll be a while before it's done, but I'll probably be going for a valvetrain job by Buddy Club. Valves, springs, retainers, and cams. But that shit's EXPENSIVE!

Haha, I'm debating on turbo'ing down the road, but I'll obviously have to make the decision before I start building...

If you've got turbo, you'll definitly pull on me...probably from later in 2nd gear, and definitly halfway through third and beyond. I'm down for some turbo-on-NA action, though.

What tranny are you running? I've got what I've been told is a GSR tranny, and it runs high in 5th gear to be an LS tranny IMO, so I think the kid might not have lied when he said "I think it's a GSR". I wanna get my tach working so I can post a speed/tach ratio and figure it out for sure.

And from dig, as stated, not right now...I have no low-end...

I'm running up to get an alignment though. Swapping out to the 10.3" integra front rotors threw it off like a bitch. That and the urethane bushings...

    be on later!

i have a zc tranny, dont like it, i make too much power for its short gears, soon as it hits 4k rpm, it slams down to 8k...revs hella fast, gonna try to get an si tranny.

jsut spend 150$ on a shiftlight/ tach combo, not the big wall clock lookin things, but its about 1+1/2 inch, is a hsift light, and in the middle is a digital tach readout, what i have.

civic/crx si. I've got like three in the garage, but one's gotta get shipped out, another doesn't have a tach (it's the one ORIGINALLY in my car) and the third is the one that's currently in my car with a broken tach.
