IMO, its DANGEROUS to run that much boost on pump gas, Built motor or not. 20psi is about the threshold on pump gas. but hey, not my call lol. 1 detonation will kill those pistons at that boost level.

If i were you, id get it tuned on the dyno ( i assume you street tuned this) and be conservative with it an see what its doing.

The car was prob heatsoaking, thats why there wasnt a big change between 2psi.

put it this way, Nyteryders made 400whp on pump gas at 19psi. On race gas, at 23psi, he only made 444whp. an hes beating EVERYONE right now.

you sir have a fast car, congrats!
I agree about the boost level. The only reason I decided to bump it was because in the back of my mind I kept thinking about a Chevy small block-lovin' coworker of mine's comment about my car only making 300whp heh. Pride does nothing but get you in trouble =P. The tune is pretty modest, and I only run about 18-19psi on the street. I figured it was probably heatsoaking, that's why I was thinking about one of those cooler kits of sorts to possibly help out. Maybe even a water/alcy injection kit could be seen in the future...

Thanks for the congrats. I've finally realized my 4 year dream of building a 400whp pump gas SR-powered S13. The dishes are done, dude
