Its much more worth it than picking up a handful of cards. All wedding photos are shot in raw+jpg (the camera saves them at the same time in two different formats , something im sure the 30D can do also), so that if I need to some post processing I still have the raw file, but also having jpg leaves it easier to transfer since I dont have to re-save the file. But shooting in a hi res raw and hi res jpeg can eat up a memory card. I think 2GB's only gets me 100 captures.. LOL
No kidding they are expensive! Hmmm sounds like a nice buy there, Ill have to look into that. Yes it can do the RAW + JPG :-) Is there a plugin or something for photoshop so it can read the c2v or whatever the extension is of the RAW? Im also looking at getting a 250+ GB external HD just for photos. Battery life of the camera isnt that bad.... was around 300-400 pics half raw+jpg and only a few flash.

As far as size I got around around 200-300 pics assorted quality.
