    Exclamation Import vs Domestic Shootout: June 25th at Reynolds

    Import vs Domestic Shootout/Grudge Match: June 25 at Silver Dollar Raceway
    Event: Import vs Domestic Shootout - Grudge Match
    When: June 25, 2006, Noon until 5 PM
    Where: Silver Dollar Raceway, Reynolds, Georgia
    Fees: $10 at gate, $xx to race

    Please come out and join me in Reynolds for our much discussed Import vs Domestic Shootout on Sunday, June 25, 2006.
    The track will open at noon. Racing begins at 1 PM and goes until 5 PM.

    The focus of the event will be Import vs Domestic Grudge Matches. Depending on the number of Domestic vs Import matches that we have, I will open the event for Import vs Import, Domestic vs Domestic, or even test and tune. The grudge matches will have priority if time becomes short.

    Gate fee will the $10 to enter/watch. I will be selling tech cards for racing. I will base the race fee on the tentative turn-out, but it will be very fair, tentatively $15-20.

    Please check out Silver Dollar's website for more information on the track.

    This is the place to let the cars do the talking. No more BS.

    I will be handling all of the coordination activites. I will update this as I have more information on the classes and schedules, but I wanted to go ahead and get this posted out.

    I would appreciate your help in spreading the word. However, please contact me first if you want to post this on other forums.

    Good question. Ill post a thread in the kills section for call-outs on this one. Id like to keep this thread more for information and general questions.

    Id definately like to get some pre-arranged callouts, so I have an idea of the turn-out ahead of time.

    Guys, update already....
    I had a couple people mention that they wouldnt be able to make it because of Father's Day plans that day. The track had suggested the 18th, but I called and they were able to do the 25th also.
    So, the new date is June 25th. I updated my original post.

    Oh hell yeah now thats worth coming to see. Since i'm up here at school at Nascar Tech Instiutute in North Carolina.... I'll ask some of these redneck, trash talking, cousin dating, hillbillies to bring their Novas and mustangs so they can finally shut-up. All they do is talk trash up here about imports. I can't wait to graduate and move back home to Gwinnett next march.

    Guys, Ive gotten verbal confirmation from a lot of people who havent posted up.
    Ill post up a more complete list in a week or so.
    Please also check out the post in the kills forum for some of the call-outs. Ive been happy with the responses so far. Keep 'em coming.
    Keep in mind that this isnt exclusively an import vs domestic. I wanted that to be the focus, but I am expecting we will have a good amount of time for normal races and test and tune. We will certainly use up all the time we have available.

    They finally got the event added to their "official" schedule on the website:

    I am working on a website that will have more information on the event, including a posting of all the pre-arranged races. There will also be a place for you to post call-outs and so-forth. Ill post a link to that as soon as its complete, probably in the next couple days.
