Once again, the event is posted at www.silverdollarraceway.com under the Special Events section.

Ive had slightly less domestic response that I hoped for, but Ive gotten a lot more import responses. Im expecting a lot of import vs import action. Either way, there will be plenty of time to get whatever runs we want in. Test and tune is cool also.

Once again, fee at the gate for everyone is $10. This is required by the track.

Ill be selling tech passes to race at the inspection area. Im trying to make it as fair as possible, and Im expecting $20 should cover it. For those who go to other track days, youll agree this is more than reasonable. The track fee is coming out of my pocket, so Im trying to make it fair for everyone.

The track has race fuel, as well as food and beverages.

Ive heard that on events like this, they arent that picky about the cages, but I would plan on having access to a helmet if youre in the 13's or better.

**if you plan to use the pit area to work on your car, please make sure you have a properly sized, approved 12 BC fire extinguisher also. They will probably be looking for this due to Georgia regulations.

Thanks for the truck compliments everyone. I was somewhat surprised to get in the 11's at all in that heat. I uncovered a few minor improvements that need to be made that I really expect to make big gains on the next time out. It was the first time to the track with a totally new setup, so I cant complain.
A lot of people seemed to be hurting due to the heat, but it was a good time none-the-less. Lots of good racing action. I just wish there had been more of the domestics out. Maybe next time.
And congrats to Ming for a smokin 120 MPH trap. Damn impressive.
Ill probably be planning another one near the end of the season. I think it was a really good turn-out.

i had a good time, you're right though the heat was rough on everybody. how about the orange CRX? that bitch was screamin down the track. nothing like spinning the slicks to the 1/8th. Kevin, we need a rematch sometime!
