Best advice in this entire thread.

i think they should of stayed with this event in Sept. Way too close to Import Alliance Nashville.. This event will fall in shadow of Import Alliance's quality/attendance no doubt...

I registered for HIN - Knoxville, TN last year... then the show got cancelled and have yet to get a refund... On their site they have refunds link posted for 09... I filled out info and got an e-mail back saying I would have a refund within 10 business days... That was back in February, still waiting... And I know at least 10 other people that it happened to as well... I don't plan on going ...

Do you know what kinda of capital it takes to put a show on the caliber of the last Nopi or HIN?? Between finding a location for enough vehicles, insurance, vendor spacing, then judging and whatever else goes on. To make a show that could +1 up HIN and Nopi, well I think this past tunerfest was more then any of the IA staff had ever dreamed of. And the best part was, it was free. Free food, free giveaways, free dyno, shit we even got to see Abby from NOSenegydrink shake her cute ass! HIN and NOPI are hopes and dreams without the delivery. They keep up the act that they are for the car scene and they want to have an amazing show, but when you go you spend most of your time looking at the booth cars b/c thats all thats really worth looking at and you pay an arm and leg to just get into the damn place. IMO I think this whole idea is just a bad one. But again my opinion is mine. If you go, have fun! I for one will not be supporting this.

i think the show will be pretty good. i mean its the only thing going on in the state that i know of as far as a major car show. not to far of a drive for most of us

yeah, i am iffy of pre-registering in case it gets cancelled or what not... Does anybody know how the parking will be like for this show? Are they just using the paved parking and no grass and gravel parking?

All the people I know who pre-registered for the 09' Louisiana event never got their refunds either. The winners I know in Texas never got their payouts. It is a shame these companies try to come back as if they did no one wrong in the past.

Yeh, good luck to them on getting their payout. Winners I know from 2009 never got their payout either.

    From jadecrew.com

A rainy weekend in Englishtown, NJ was host to the HIN/NOPI car show this past weekend. At the shows end, car show participants were upset, and for a very good reason, because the NOPI-HIN staff tells them they will not be annoucing winners and they will just mail home the trophies. Really?!? With years of experience throwing events you figure this would not happen. Well the participants have spoken and the following videos says it all. Not a good start to a car show series when the country is craving quality events
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wLysx...eature=related

Some winners I know personally never got their payouts in 2009 either.
