Just a heads up, I will be collecting half the payments this week to place the deposit down.

Please PM if you have the payment ready.
5 Spots left people, lets get them filled, and paid for!
and then run santa run the next day!

hey man..me and my friend wanna do the track day. PM me the payment info
3 spots left!
2spots remain
Deadline for payment is next Friday. Arrange this with me asap please.
Last couple spots open people. Since the cap is at 12 cars, the amount of seat time is going to be great!!
Move everyone over to my track day that is saturday. It would be cheaper...
Thank you to all that have sent payments so far. Deposit will be sent out next week, and finalized details of all the run groups will be made over this weekend.
Do you guys think it would be worth going in a Hyundai Genesis coupe 2.0t? I recently got it and have never been to a track event before, so it would be a completely new thing for me and my car.
Any replies or thought would be appreciated. Thanks!
Sorry im really a noob here, but when you say street pads, do you mean tires?
If so, I really cant spend more money on other tires, but I got my car at Jim Ellis, and they had a free tires for life promotion when i got the car, so I get free tires as long as there are no signs of abuse, uneven where, flat spots, etc.
This leads me to another question, if I did go to the track, would I end the day with the things I mentioned above?
hah...nah man..brake pads. just order some hawk hps or hp+ and you'll be fine at the track. you'll improve your driving ability..you'll figure out the limits of your car..so you'll be a safer driver on the street. and its also fun as hell. i kinda wanna check your car out too..i still havent ridden in a new genesis yet
by the way...what tires does it come with stock? size and brand
brake pads are really easy to put in. you'd probably want to leave them in if you got the hps pads. they are good for street and track. they should be a lot better than your stock pads for both applications. but if they got noisy or something you could always put your stock pads back in.
well...they will probably stop working after a couple of laps. they aren't designed for the temp your brakes will get to when on the track.
i know this because i went to my first track event a couple of years ago with stock pads...and i was really disappointed to find out that after a couple of laps my brakes basically didn't work anymore. so i couldn't push my car nearly as hard as i wanted to...cause i knew it just wouldn't stop fast enough in the corners.
if you don't know how to change your pads...you can get a haynes manual or chiltons from autozone or any other parts store. it's super easy..it probably won't take you more than half an hour your first time.
so...any updates NEMESIS?? did we reach 12 people?
hey nemesis...any update? did we get all the people we need? check your PM's i've been trying to get in touch with you
Hey man. Before I made any move on this I wanted to make sure, but we had 8 payments which was great, but 3 people bailed out due to work/family reasons. So that leaves us out to dry, and with it being so close to the track day I have no choice but to either reschedule or issue the refunds. I will send an email out to those that left a payment with me on what they decide.
If we decide to reschedule... the new date will be February 6th.
how would you care about somone whos never been on the track?
