Do you guys think it would be worth going in a Hyundai Genesis coupe 2.0t? I recently got it and have never been to a track event before, so it would be a completely new thing for me and my car.

Any replies or thought would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hell yeah man. Come on out. Your car will prob be faster than mine. I'm in a crx. You may just wanna upgrade your street pads to some hawk hps or somethin similar and you'll be fine.

Sorry im really a noob here, but when you say street pads, do you mean tires?

If so, I really cant spend more money on other tires, but I got my car at Jim Ellis, and they had a free tires for life promotion when i got the car, so I get free tires as long as there are no signs of abuse, uneven where, flat spots, etc.

This leads me to another question, if I did go to the track, would I end the day with the things I mentioned above?

hah...nah man..brake pads. just order some hawk hps or hp+ and you'll be fine at the track. you'll improve your driving ability..you'll figure out the limits of your car..so you'll be a safer driver on the street. and its also fun as hell. i kinda wanna check your car out too..i still havent ridden in a new genesis yet

by the way...what tires does it come with stock? size and brand

How much are those brake pads?

And I dont have the track model, so I have the 18 inch Bridgestones. I am not sure about the model, but I know they are all season sport and not summer tires.
