OK so....I'm going to put this out there, but I will explain logically so you don't think I'm just complaining for my own benefit. Why does the Outlaw Class (which should typically be the fastest) pay out less than the Forced Induction & FWD Classes? Traditionally, the fastest class pays the most money in any sanctioned event.

Now I know along the lines of what will be said is something like.... Import Face has always been more about the grassroots racers and kind of originated around the FWD crowd. The FWD crowd is usually the largest field, so we cater to that class and pay more money. The Forced Induction Crowd (Street Tire Class) has been growing in popularity so it has a high payout as well.

This all makes perfect sense to me. I realize this race has been going for many years and has been almost the only touring race that has out lasted sanctioning bodies like NDRA, NIRA, NHRA for imports, etc.... Props to you for that and thank god you're still going strong.

But there in begins my point. All the big dog race cars have somewhat vanished. You know, all the purpose built drag cars we used to see. To me it seems this is an opportunity for Import Faceoff to step in and revamp what no one else is offering, except for maybe BOI. It seems to me that putting more attention into the Outlaw Class would ultimately promote this event more and put more people in the stands. I mean, I guess from a business perspective, what is IFO's ultimate goal with the progress of their events?
Is it to continually grow and expand these events or is it to keep at the same pace and progression? I'm not saying to take anything away from the other classes, and by no means am I suggesting to over extend your self to try and bring back a NDRA level of race. Cause lets face it, the Import drag scene does not have the popularity it used to. I'm just pointing out that you already have a well established following, but there is untapped market being overlooked that could get some really fast cars out to the track and help put some extra asses in the stands.

Just for an FYI, my car will fit in the Pro Forced Induction Class with the new rule change for 2010....so I'm not trying to promote the Outlaw class for my own personal benefit. Not to mention that there are a hell of a lot faster cars than mine that would fit into this class if they actually started showing up.
    I always break anyway.

Thanks for yor time and sorry if I wasted it.
