He called me and asked if I wanted to tag along, I was the smart guy to make up an excuse. A roadtrip to Orlando and back in a day, that's not fun.
Taylor and I made a trip to NC to get my car a few years ago. Same scenario, tolerable on the way up, couldn't wait for it to be over on the way back.
Roadtrips aren't bad if you're actually with people that you like in the car all the way through. We should all do one sometime, then hate each other afterwards.

Problem is we all love to drive LOL. I've been pitching another Tail of the Dragon trip for some time to no avail. If we can get it locked down and actually be organized I'd definitely be down.

Who/what do you need permission from/for? And trust me, I'm not so sure everyone is comfortable with blasting the Dragon as fast as possible (first timers) so I'm sure you wouldn't be a hindrance.

Which reminds me, I just got pulled over on my way home last night while on the interstate. It was Sheriff, told me I was doing 89 on a 70, asked for my license, went in his patrol car, went back around less than 2 minutes later, and gave me my license and told me I'm good to go. I was like "What?" and he's like "Just have a safe trip and have a good night sir". If only PTC cops were like that. A fucking PTC cop gave me a fucking ticket for "Violating Park Hours"....

Road trips by yourself are always the best. Drive how you want, listen to what you want, and you can drive pantsless. Plus you only stop when you need to stop, not because some DB next to you has to take a piss. Thats what empty bottles are for.

Nothing special. I was hanging out with a friend and we were just sitting at the lake park right next to the library. I was the only car in the parking lot. 15 minutes later, patrol car shows up, shines his light around and I go "That's probably for us", so we walk towards her, she goes "Stop right there", We stop, she asks for IDs we give her IDs and asks why we are here at midnight and we were like "Well we haven't seen each other in a while we were just hanging out", she shines light on our eyes, goes in her patrol car, and stays there for 15 minutes doing all some bullshit whatever she's doing, goes back out and gives us a lecture about how we shouldn't be out in the park at night and told us that the park is closed (it doesn't have a sign that says it's closed or it's going to close at this said time), and gives us the $50 ticket.
Fuck the Dragon. Wolf Pen Gap, Blood Mountain, and Unicoi are better.

That's funny Ronel. I've been at the lake two different times past hours. Once, we were there until like 10pm, and the cops rolled in and just told us we should go to the pond. No ticket or lecture or anything. Another time I was there with someone until like...12:45am and no cops showed up or anything.
