so i stumble my tired, fat ass through the door and find this sitting on the workbench:
inside are some gaskets
and a completely ported and polished exhaust manifold and crossover pipe that have been ceramic coated
i originally bought these used and uncoated for a great deal and decided to have them sent straight to grimmspeed for coating. grimmspeed took delivery and called me stating the were NOT ported, just polished. the guy i bought them from refunded me some money and grimmspeed cut me a HUGE break on the porting and coating so i still came out $56 ahead then if i would have sent in a used manifold for the service.
on top of that, they were so kind to rush it out to me that i didnt get a chance to pay till after it was shipped. as such, i got extra gaskets i didnt need for free. lol

How much longer till your back up and running? I love the ceramic coating! I've been wanting to pick up a set of long tubes and get them done.

uhhh.... i still need my shortblock: $1700+ tax, headwork $800, turbo $1200, intake manifold porting $700, and a few more miscellaneous stuff $600. November ish maybe??
as for the coating, i love it! dads had the same exhaust manifold setup and it still looks great. the throttle body, intake manifold and tgv's will be ceramic coated black as well to keep heat out.

I was catching up, got to like driver level 24. But then I got LA noire the other day and been stuck on it. Havnt touched forza sense. And now dirt 3 will be out tuesday so probably won't be back with forza for a while.
Is LA noire good. Seems like Red Dead + GTA and set between the two on a timeline.
