Newnan meets

[Motivation]

While Bryan does "Own" the Parking Lot, I'm sure the last thing he wants to do is start playing Police Man at the meets. If it becomes that bad of a meet that he's gonna have to start kicking people out and running around trying to keep control I suggest we find a new place to meet so it doesn't become more of a burden than an enjoyable meet for him. Of course I don't speak for him, I'm just looking at the situation as if it was my place of business and I had to deal with all of the bullshit.


Basically we all need to "man" up and take control of the situations and make sure they don't go to shit forcing Bryan to kick us all out. The situation was handled in a timely and just manner last night without anyone getting hurt or a stampede of cars running for the gate.

If you see someone being a DB take it upon yourself to tell that someone to quit being a DB and not rely on Bryan to handle it.

Also, when someone does something, don't blame someone else for it. In the last x amount of pages Roxie has been blamed for what happened by a lot of people, but, while they were blaming her they seemed like they just had a personal vendetta against her more than anything. She didn't tell him to do what he did. Just like you tell people to stick up for THEIR actions and not to pass the blame, ya can't just pass the blame on someone else. Let's just let all this end. Drama happens, yes, it sucks. But, if you just let it go after it's been resolved there is a chance it will disappear a lot quicker. Just go out to the meet and have fun. We've been driving out to Newnan recently because it's always a fun time. Let's keep it this way. As was stated in the post I quoted, this isn't Bryan's responsibility. He was nice enough to get a place for everyone to meet. I've had to police the meets we had in McDonough when we started them at where we were at now. Things die down. Go to the meet, have fun with people, enjoy being around cars, leave the drama at home.

The only reason I stated Bryan at all was not to blame him, but because he has shown responsibility for this particular location, and I respect that. I would hope that he realizes the appreciation that I and others have for his allowing us to meet in this location.

I completely agree with Motivation on the personal responsibility bit, but that being said, I'm not going to get in someone's face about revving their engines; especially now that people are bringing guns to a freaking parking lot get together.

I just got done putting in a new Fuel Pressure regulator and a camera mount. Took the car up the road to see how everything worked, and I forgot to put the hood pins back in. Damn.

Thankfully no one got hurt, just my pride. Gonna need a new cowl panel and the supporting metal under it is bent, but other than that everything else is fine.

The problem with that is we don't know whom the owner is. Therefore we cant get permission and the cops can kick you out. At least at the Sherwin Williams, IF bryan is there he can speak to them and let them know we are welcome. Or at least some of us are!
