Not that my insurance is expensive or anything, I decided to shop around (mostly USAA) to see if I could get a lower price. I also found out that the hit and run that happened last year in the S2K was considered 50% or more my fault. WTF?

I went out in the rain, and wound up washing my car instead of dropping by SW. Heard some of you leave. Almost waterlocked my engine 'cause I forgot to cover my filter. Functional hood scoop is nice until you shoot water through it.

I'm going to have to repaint my car. I forgot to cover my fenders while I was working on it, and now I have grease staining my white paint.

But my new clutch feels good. Time for the break-in period.
And next Sunday I get a carbon fiber hood.

Sucks I missed the meet. I did however have dinner at Applebee's. We left there at about 8:00 and went to Wally World to get some essentials. Then back home. The wife has requested that I go to the meets every other week so I'll be there next week. Hopefully the dude (Drew) with the yellow Cobalt SS/SC can show up.

Apparently, they're replacing all the appliances in my new apartment right now, and won't give me the key until Monday.
My current lease ends Sunday.

So I guess for the people who were planning on coming over to help me move my heavy furniture down two flights of stairs, we'll have to wait. Atleast my car is running.

You're joking right? Seeing as how the scoop is in the center of the hood, and the one(hopefully) source of air to the engine is on the driver side, that makes no sense. Hell, I have my filter right under the driver side vent and never had an issue with water.

Have you ever lathered up your car and shot the water off the wrong way?
The scoop directed all that water and hit my entire bay. I had to shake off the filter.
No harm, no foul, since I caught it before it could suck anything up.

It's fine in the rain. I've driven in storms with no problems.
Now that my bay is cleaned and painted, I'm going to build a CAI and get Sean to weld it.
