He seriously need a honda... Mayba an ef hatch with a simple obd0 B18 swap....
I'm actually now browsing for one. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/atl/cto/2381123216.html
Bubbasparx...if LB see's your post and bugs me about those damn dogs, I'm going to kill you. Haha.
^^ Not a bad looking car.
I would buy Corbin's but it's Corbin's. You know it's hard to look for a good condition STOCK Honda that is a 5 speed. Usually the ones I see, I go, "Oh fuck, this is a good deal but I have some work to do to make it in great shape".
It's like raising a kid.
Edit:
Oh and to add on, I HATE CARS WITH HIDs. So if I instantly see that it has a HID headlights, it turns me off from looking further into the car. I hate spending time and money to replace shit that I don't like from something.
I know it's like raising a kid...I have my own dog lol
I agree with this,if i could have gone back in time and bought a stock integra,i wish i would have. Would have been much simplier to mod in the long run.
this has been calling my name http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/ctd/2401664442.html
why a sedan corbin?
I want that sedan.

First off, finding a 5spd honda is not hard at all. One in good shape? still not hard. Withing 30-45 days you can score a good deal on a clean car. You want an EK hatch? that's problematic because they didn't make many. Open up your search range and settle for a clean stock 92-95 civic ex coupe and trust me- you can have ALOT of fun with it!!!
There's alot of 90-93 Integras for sale, although you really want a 92-93 if you can get one. These are kinda old so finding a good one can be more difficult.
Preludes 92-96 are awesome cars if you find one. 5 years ago they were easier to find in good shape, but a good deal can still be had on one of these bad boys.
If not a Prelude, its sister the accord is an awesome choice!! You can find these with 5spds all day long!!! They're a bit slow, but it wouldn't take much sourcing/swapping to make it a formidable street car. Besides, the early 90's accord coupes look sexy as fuck slammed with a nice set of wheels. I've seen dozens that were nicer than most tegs and civics. these cars are fairly light and the torquey F and H series motors make them QUICK! Davis's girlfriend has one with a bolt-on H23 and a crappy LOOOONG geared 5spd and her first day to the track she ran 16.1. To put it in perspective, tommy ran a 16.0. We believe her car witha good driver will run 15.8 or better. With a halfway decent gearbox, low 15's and even better with more/better bolt-ons.
^^^^^ SPECIAL NOTE^^^^^ that's not by any means fast! Quick is a better word, but the fact of the matter is, most full weight hondas are lucky to break into the 14's NA with just bolt-ons and stock internals.
Stay away from modified cars if at all possible. Corbin, andrew, joe, and I bought cars with 1 or two mods, but they were simple and decent products. Anything more than that- avoid it like the plague!!! You seen Jojo's swap and I may have made it look easy, but I've been fucking with Hondas for 10 years this august. I know my shit and and can literally pull one apart in a matter of hours. I used to eat, sleep, breathe, and shit all things Honda, and when one of yous ask me a question, it would do you well to listen to what I have to say. Just ask Joe- I talked him into a few things (and i may have influenced his choice of motor. IDK) to get/do when he did his swap and he's happier then pigs in shit.
But you take somebody with less experience and let them try to build a car and you could be asking for trouble. Lots of trouble. And you may not find out certain things till days, weeks, or months later. I've seen guys buy cars with built motors that seemed to be fine untill they changed the oil. The previous owner spun a bearing and then loaded the motor up with 50 weight oil to hide the rod knock. My buddy put 5-30 in it and his supposedly 205whp B series was toast. Another friend bought a a car with a GSR transmission that "had a KAAZ LSD installed." Closer inspection revealed no LSD. All things to think about.
Finally, HID's are not the worst thing in the world. It takes 5-10 minutes to uninstall them and 10 bucks for regular replacement bulbs. If that's all the car has or is one of a couple things, don't sweat it dude....
I'm trying to get another GSR to have as a daily. I'd leave it stock and slow. Good on gas, reliable, and stay under the radar.
Nice speech

hell ya i love my swap, too bad ive been putting the throttle down more than i should lol.
GET A CABLE!!!!! We'll set the ignition timing and then "take it for a spin!"
We really need to do some runs:
Tommy vs Andrew's Sol
Tommy vs Jojo's hatch
Jojo's hatch vs Andrew's Sol
40 roll to around 90-100. Nothing crazy.
Two of the participants are not likely to play due to lack of confidence in driving skill and/or lack of comfort to playing on the streets for legal reasons. Therefore, I am willing to whore myself out as a driver for both parties if they're interested/willing. The problem comes from the last matchup. Perhaps tommy would drive one car and I would drive the other??
The track not the best place to see who's car is quicker due to the fact that driver skill and launching technique and practice are all heavily impossing factors in an attempt to see whose car is faster. From a 40 roll, proper gear selection and awesome shifting are the only factors and makes it an easy comparrison as long as both drivers are decent.
They're not my cars and I can't force you guys to do it, but I'm just throwing the offer out there cuz a few of us wanna see how these three cars stack up!!
And corbin needs to run me when I'm in the Fit!!!!!!!!!)
hector hooked me up with a cable. He put an ek cable in, its a little long but we got it to work no problem. Throttle response improved significantly, car has balls.
Andrew said i can drive his car awhile back so :goodjob:
I've got nothing to race against... :(
Did race my friends accord yesterday and it was pretty even...
But I'm sure if he knew how to drive he'd have won...
Yall watch out when I get my 5.9 stroked to 408 with a paxton making 5-600
