The fastest car i've ever ridden in was my buddys TSI. It ran 11.7 back in 1999. Damn thing hurt to ride in. But damn did it hook. That is when it wasnt breakin trannys.
I made it out for about 2 minutes. Just Bobby and Phil were there though.
CONGRATS!!! Looks like its Beer time!
And the Shitbox is finally back on the ground. Feels like its way down on power though. But it handles 10x better! Needs a paint job bad. The new hood is in the garage just waiting to be fitted.

Car is looking good Shroeder! You said it feels down on power. Did you do anything engine wise?
its hot out. no more winter air- wait, he doesn't drive a car with a tmic..... nvm.
Drift Atlanta was not nearly as fun as in the past, but we still had a good time. It seems to end earlier and earlier each year and the presentation wasn't on par with the last few events.
I appreciate those who stayed late and helped clean up after a long day of grillin and chillen. To those on here who just bounced without saying a word, your selfishness shines BRIGHTLY. :2up:
I had fun for being my first time...
It was good hanging out with y'all...
I've got like a million pics i have to sort through...
And it took forever to get out of there we were literally like in the last 10 cars out...
Coulda swore Tommy was gonna rear end me a couple times... His lights dissapered from my mirrors a couple times behind my tailgate... Lol train horned you once...
And idk if any of you seen as we were leaving I accidentally went over the rocks...
I didnt drag anything but I was pullin the LF in the air...
What about the people that set up the canopies? found the spot for the canopies? talked to the people next to us to move their shit so we could set up our caanopies? built the grill? started the fire? cleaned up BEFORE we left to go to the pit area?
I'm not taking anything away from you bobby, that's not my intentions, but because of your attitude, it just pissed some people off.
You're so childish to bring this bullshit to a public forum trying to call people out. But go ahead and try to call me out, you know I'm the nicest fucking person on this earth, but I get tired of peoples bullshit. and YOU know I'm not a dick to anyone unless theyre a dick first. YOU KNOW THAt!
Just step back and see your actions and what you say to people before you start calling people out, man.
Sounds like we didn't miss anything this year.
Supposedly a 350z hit a ram 2500 and as they were coming on one of the exit roads the truck ran into the 350 and started to try and push it(we saw that part and were like wtf?) then a cop came up and started dealing with it...
We seen plastic fall from between the 2 I'm gonna assume it was a front license plate on the truck...
The trunk was bent on the z... Thats all I saw
1. I didn't realize that spreading open a canopy was such chore for 6 people. How long did that take? 2 minutes? How much stuff did you carry from the truck and bleachers to our spot? I know the answer, nothing. You were sitting in your chair the entire time.
2. I found a spot where we could setup both canopies comfortably before you and Mei walked over to go talk to the other people where it was cramped in the first place. We never would have needed to talk to other people to move their stuff because the spot that I had picked was completely empty.
3. You guys can ask anyone there btw, I asked if you guys needed help with the grill. I asked YOU personally if there was anything I could do, but there was already 5 people trying to put it together so it was overkill anyway.
4. Your version of cleaning was to put up your chairs and pick up a couple of drinks and plates. You know that it's a collaborative effort it break the canopies and grill down and clean up the rest of the trash after it's over, especially if you benefit from it. That's why every time we have a bbq at your house we all stay to clean up our mess afterwards(even if you have already passed out like it's been every time). Tommy, Jamie, Roxie, Blaine, and I were literally a few of the last people to leave Road Atlanta because we didn't have any help.
What time did you guys get home? I got a text from Roxie saying that she was home at 12:49 and one from Blaine at 12:53. No detours. No stops for food or gas.
The only reason why I got angry with everyone chillen under the canopy is because we still had stuff to move. Ryan, Tori, Roxie, Blaine(with his truck), and I lugged all of the coolers, canopies, chairs, etc while the majority of everyone sat around. If getting angry for people's laziness is being a dick, then I guess that's fine.
According to your text message, I said "Oh fuck no! This is my canopy so I get to sit in the shade!"
Your response was "If it wasn't for me, you wouldn't even be here."
1. That doesn't sound like anything I would say out loud and you manipulated the text to make me sound more like a dick. The correct phrase would be, "Ah hell nah, I bought this canopy so I could sit in the shade." Subtle changes in wording can affect the tone buddy. Also, this was said because Ryan, Tori, Roxie, and I were stuck in the heat.
2. Tommy and I spent the money to buy canopies so we can get out of the heat. Don't you think that it would make sense for us and our respective girlfriends' to get a shady spot?
3. I appreciate you "getting" me the day off and everything, but just because you did that doesn't mean that you can come out and treat me like shit with a response like that. Complete uncalled for.
And for the last part, I didn't specify names at all in my last post because that would have been disrespectful and rude for everyone. Everyone from our group who was at Drift Atlanta knew what's up, so there was no need to be specific on who did what. So in fact, you're making yourself look dumb by making a post that is so easily broken down and responded to. Good move. :goodjob:
Btw, because I know how we all are. No one will want to get into the middle of this, but I'm pretty positive there are others that feel the same way or similar.
Can y'all take this circle jerk to text or something? :dunno:
On a good note, I should be picking the huskies up this weekend. :D
The big one will be mine and I will be leaving the little one for my son. The bigger one will likely be coming with me to work on the weekends so he will be out there. Not sure how well Portia gets along with other dogs and vice versa.
Guess we will have to see.
We shall find out then. :goodjob:
I'd bring rogue if he wasn't such a Pussy in the car...
And if I had room in the truck
He loves people and female dogs...
The only male he's been around is his bro whom hate each other anymore...
They didn't grow up together so their both alfa...
So bacon is the big one male?
so cook out next week, still need volunteers for food stuff.......that is if anyone still wants to come after it sounds like some people are heated after this weekends round of events.....
I'm still up...
Still gonna choose last minute what food I bring
Blaine, both are male and have been around each other since the little one was a puppy.
Joe, I am definitely coming but I will be on the bike so I need someone to pick the food up for me and I will give them the money when I get there. Just let me know what is needed and we will go from there.
Well how would this work instead, everyone bring 5-10 bux on friday night, and ill go and get everything saturday morning instead of trying to get everyone to bring something?
Your dogs would prob be fine with mine... just not vice versa... I've thought about bringing him... just gotta figure out.how to bring him... I would have to clean him up when we get there tho... slobber and throw up no thanks... but he would love it once we were there...
I'm fine with that Joe
