I am as red as a tomato and badly sun burnt from Import Showdown.....

Steve isnt saying you're shifting wrong, he's telling you you're starting from a dead stop wrong. Big difference. And he's not being a dick, he's just trying to give you a pointer so you don't have to change your clutch again so soon. Now if he came across as "You don't know how to drive a fucking stick dipshit. You need to come watch me drive my Badass EVO as it's God's Chariot!" then I would be pissed off and tell him to go fuck himself.
Steve is a good person and is just trying to help out. Don't jump up his ass just because he gave you a pointer. Also what series engine, how high it revs and at what RPM the VVT kicks in doesn't mean shit about clutch engagement. It has to do with type of clutch material, Springs, and Clutch adjustment.
You guys are talking about clutching and shifting? Oh look at my avatar. I can't even drive, so feel better.
Well I'm glad that everyone else is sees my comments as me trying to help him out instead of bashing on him (which is not my intent). We all had to learn how to drive a manual at some point in our life and can always learn something from others, no matter how long we've been driving.
Just buy an SMG car next time, the the computer do all the hard stuff :goodjob:
hey steveo, you ever apply that protectant to your wheels?
I'm hungry and tired.
Also, my wheels bearings are already squealing after 3 weeks of use..
Well, I'm sorry for taking it the wrong way.
I know you're a nice guy, and you're trying to help, but it felt like you were bashing me. I wasn't able to sleep last night because I got home at 4 and had stuff to do at 7:30.
No, I don't always launch my car. I am perfectly capable of driving it correctly, and 95% of the time I do. My Grand Prix was a stick, my first Celica was a stick.
I admit I bang a little hard on this car 'cause it can take it. I baby it when it's necessary, keep , but it's capable of taking a beating.
But seriously. I know you're trying to help, and I'm sorry I got defensive.
Yeah, I applied it on Saturday night. I'm about to wash the car again so I'll see how well it works.
No sweat man. I was only simply trying to help and so were others. I would hate to hear down the road that you're having to replace the clutch once again.
What do y'all think

I'd have to see them in person. Looking at the pictures of them mounted on the Durango, my choice would be no but they could look good on your truck if it was lowered.
Truck will be lowered 2 in the front and 3 in the back
as soon as my dads back gets better or
my bro comes down and helps
I can give you a hand if I am off.
Thanks for the offer but we'll get it
