IMO I'd buy an xj over a tj because they both have awesome trail capabilities plus the xj has room for people and friends

I need a new motor. Something went wrong with my motor and now I have to replace it sooner.....lovely.

yup. something went wrong yesterday. started sputtering bad. barely made it to my work and then it died. could barely get up a hill in second gear. once i shifted to fourth and fifth i lost all power and now it won't start. no visible damage and it wasn't knocking. i have replaced:
~fuel filter
~plugs
~wires
~cap and rotor
~radiator
~distributor internals
don't have a clue what is going on with it.

previous owner said he replaced a bunch of gaskets but there is an oil leak coming from somewhere. plenty of oil in it. i gotta do a comp test and see if there is any water getting into the cylinders. im thinking a head gasket.

Saw a pretty blue RSeX with an aftermarket bumper
Dizzy is working fine. Sparks all cylinders. Now I gotta check timing and air/fuel.
Also, when it finally died there was smoke coming from the back of the motor. No holes in the block or anything.
any codes? check fuel pump as well, loose connections, starter, cyl, alt, and all that good jive.
