Made a tentative appointment for window tint this afternoon, and have my front lip and boost controller ready to go in this weekend. Springs should be here today, but waiting a week or two till I can afford some KYB GR2 struts before putting them in.

Steve you down to help with the ZC swap and installing boost?Anyone is invited Just gonna chill and swap out a 1.5non v dual point with a 1.6 non v ZC four point fully built.And install a full turbo kit. Just dont want to sit there and do it all by myself.
well sure but I need to plan ahead. need to make sure you have everything before we turn the first bolt and lets do the turbo separately. Just in case theres problems with the swap (doubtful but just to be safe) we can get those squared away first. Once that's situated and you've driven it and whatnot we can add the boost kit. Again making sure you have everything.

I'm planning to up the boost from the stock 13.5 to 15.5-16psi. But it gets addicting so we'll see. lol I think if i want more its gonna come from a cobb Accessport.

ok i'm confused....
Stock boost is 13.5psi +/- .5 simple enough. I was seeing these type of numbers yesterday but more so the +.5 especially in fourth gear last night when my father drove it.
So coming home from stephanie's I decide to double check the numbers one lat time before playing with it tomorrow.
Second gear seems right on at 13.3-5 peak. Third is seeing numbers like fourth gear was last night (14.1-3). And fourth gear is now seeing a peak boost of 15+!!! WTF??????
:dunno: kinda seems like boost creep! *EDIT*just read the link, not boost creep or spiking.....may be normal!

idk sean... Seems like it has a higher boost pressure in colder dry air. Obviously colder air is denser but it just seemed like quite a jump for me from 13.5 +/-.5 to 15+.....
did it actually jump from 13.5 to 15 on the guage? if it sayed constant till you let off the gas then its boost creep!
stay constant? kinda. I mean as the revs climb the power and boost taper off i was down to around 13ish psi when I let out of it. Its hard to say. Doing 110+ and watching road plus tach plus boost gauge isn't easy. lol
