Your link says 6GB.
jk. If I can't find a 120GB, I'll pick that up.
The mask I wear is a medium, it a pretty good fit.
And do you own everything? Might as well, haha. I'll be done with your hoist by then, I hope. I've pretty much replaced everything I've seen that showed even a little wear.
If I don't own something I either go out and buy it, or I know someone who does own one. Nice thing about being a "Mechanic" for a living. My next "big" purchase is gonna be a tig welder or a Plasma cutter. More than likely the Tig Welder will win that war over the plasma cutter though.
Only reason I end up buying crap is when I worked at the airlines we had a rule as mechanics. You can only borrow a tool from someone twice. After that you were required to go out and buy one. It was nice because just about everyone had whatever was needed to get the job done.
And if you need more cartridges for your mask let me know and I can drop some off tomorrow morning if you want.
I'd love to have a plasma cutter
a little respirator 101...
charcoal filters have about a 20 hour usable life.. once thats over.. they are basically useless (and you should be using a charcoal filter with any kinda paint) easy test is if you can smell anything with it on.. its not filtering the isocyanates that are being given off by the paint (or chassis saver).. and you might as well just stick it in a balloon and huff it.. lol.. cuz thats essentially what you're doing
if and when you do get a new one.. make sure you keep it in a sealed Ziploc bag when you're not using it.. because its still technically "breathing" if its just sitting on the workbench
Here at work we are required to pitch them 8 hours after opening the package. Whether we used it for 8 hours is irrelevant. Of course I'm not paying for them so I don't car if it's 8 hours or 8 minutes.
But the nice thing is the only ones we carry are the dual use ones. Basically an all in one catridge to filter just about everything with the hepa filter built in.
No more guess work on which one you need. Of course you could always run two different filters. One on each side that filters different things that way your REALLY covered!!! :lmfao: Sad thing is people actually used to do that here then wonder why they could still smell and taste crap.
So i heard there putting in a sonic across the street from the chick fil a starrs mill. Im pretty pumped for it.
He's had an 02 M3, supercharged G (or Z, i forget), another Z, and a few other cars.
It don't make him a douche cause he don't know about his car... He bought it on Tuesday or Wednesday. He buys cars and sells them for a profit, he got the car for a good deal. He don't plan on keeping it. He's making good money with that, so I am not going to hate on him. Don't hate on someone cause they have a nice car but just don't know what they have. He admitted he didn't know, instead of making up bs and acting like a douche. He says he has the mod list and that's all he knows of the car. He'll figure it out one day. But, at least he isn't driving around a honda with a fart can and thinking he's God's gift to earth... I'd rather those people stay away from meets. :goodjob:
I still can't smell anything. Then again, I think I've put maybe 8 hours on my filters. I'm not dumb enough to keep it in the garage. I bring it upstairs with me.
With the exception of a few minor touchups, I'm done with the bay.

I'm going to take my fenders and sway bar off and paint everything else.
I used two regular brushes and a foam brush to get the bulk of it, then started dipping my fingers in the can and wiping down things like hoses and my sway bar, where it's nearly impossible to get an even coating with a brush. I'd coat it, let it dry, scuff it up and coat it again. It's a lot better than the dirt-stained white that was in there.
That gloss black will accent the engine well.

Great, My wife just called me here at work and her cars not running right. Had her run the codes and it looks like its a #3 Cyl misfire. Now I gotta run to Autozone and get a coil pack, wires, and plugs. Good thing the Autozone up here by my work in Smyrna is open till Midnight! Nothing like getting to work on a soaking ass wet car in the middle of the night! Who wants to come drink some beers and work on a Ford Toreass with me? J/K!
Ugh, my driverside HID went out last night...I hope the passenger side doesn't on my way home tonight...
Motivation: Doesn't matter what cars he has owned or how he gets these cars. He may not be a douche but if you are going to show up at a car meet with a car like that, know what it is that you are bringing.
