    Default W-I Freedom Run

    2008 Freedom Rally
    Coming May 3rd, 2008!
    ***First registrations will be taken at The Varsity in Atlanta on Dec. 6th. Look for the Freedom Rally table in the parking lot.***




    What is the Freedom Rally? Similar in style (but not cost) to the Gumball 3000 or Bullrun, this event will be a rally originating in Columbus, GA and spanning 5 cities in Central Georgia for a day filled with activities, raffles, awards and of course, a scenic roadtrip. This is a rally not a race. The object of this event is to enjoy the drive and the presence of fellow automotive enthusists.



    Who can participate in the Rally? This event is open to anything with an engine. Cars, classic cars, muscle cars, tuner cars, trucks, motorcyles, hot rods, even RV's. If it has wheels, an engine and a seat then it is eligble to participate. We will even have an award for the most unique vehicle. Participants (drivers) must be over the age of 18 by the day of the event.


    Where and when will this event take place?
    This event will start in Columbus, GA and wind through 4 other cities over 250 miles. The Rally will end with an after party for all of the participants and their guests. The Rally will be held on May 3rd, 2008 with the start engine command being given at 11:00am to start the Rally.


    How much will this event cost?
    Pricing for this event will be very similar to a local car show.

    Early registration (ending May 2nd) - $25
    Day of event (May 3rd) - $30
    Clubs registering 6+ members - $20


    How do I register?
    There are two ways to register:

    In person. We will have signup times at various locations which will be posted well before the signup.

    I think you should make the entry fee sort of high so you dont get a bunch of ricers and what not. Just folks who wanna show what their cars got

    well we mapped out the route. It will be fun nice ride. total was about 270 miles. the flyer will posted soon. and we will be at the next V meet in December doing a special on preregistration.

    So what exactly is this? Some kinda see who gets where first? Wasnt there somthing like this that took place in columbus about 4 years back. Some rally that was suppose to run all over columbus on certain roads to a destination spot. Then the winner won some cash or somthing...LOL!!!

    gonna make my 100th post in here, lol. what time are u guys going to the varsity on the 6th? I've never been, and I usually don't get off til 8PM but I would really like ride out there and contribute to the first night you guys have people sign up.
