    anyone having a trackday at tgp this summer? if not, i'd like to get some people together to get one goin.

    are you talking about that motorcycle track right near the speedway?

    that track is nice, we race go karts there.

    i'd love to bring the hatch out to that, how much would it be?

    I dont race anymore, but my dad builds motors for sum guys who race. He's going to Barber's in alabama this weekend. He builds the raptor motors.

    Ok, looking to get a track day together for Aug 9th.

    I'm investigating having a Street Car track day at Talladega Grand Prix on Aug 9th. Most of you have already had a blast on this 1.4 mile road course, but for those of you who haven't I highly recommend it!!! The track was re-paved earlier this year, and they have expanded the course to go behind the grand stand area. To have the track for the day is $1500, with a max of 12 cars. So figure $125-$150 depending on how many participants we get.

    Please let me know by end of this week if you can make this date. If I can get enough folks I'd like to have the track reserved by next Monday. Please forward this to any fellow auto enthusiasts that may be interested in attending.

    It will be first come first serve, well first pay first serve!!

    Corey, I sent you a pm. We'll work on logistics

    Hmm, I'm interested, but need to figure out whether I want to attend this track day or s2katlanta.com's on 8/11 in SC.

    If you get enough people/cars to confirm (say around 8-10), I'll definitely go with this over the s2k track day.

    I would like to have the track reserved by next Monday but I need to confirm the number of spots. Please shoot me an email if you can make it, and I'll add you to the distribution list. It will be first pay first serve. The track can only take 12 cars and I already have 5 confirmed. I will be collecting payment via paypal. If we get 12 cars, it will be $125 per car.
