Well actually it does. His father always harassed him about the boogeyman and trapped him in closets so he would know that it's not true. He used to make him count to 5 remeber and not fear the boogeyman. Well it backfired on him, remeber in the beggening when his father walked in and said it's not real it's just a story then next thing ya know he gets his arse handed to him. I guess the base line was that his father some how brought it upon both of them sort of summoned him i guess you could say. I really didnt like it though, the plot was out their and not scary @ all.
Jeeper Creepers 2 was better.
