Andrew is right up there in the RBI's, Chipper is coming around, McCann is one of the best right now, especially in the cathers spot (a notebly weak position for many a team) Renteria is about as consistent a player as you are gonna get. I feel sheurholtz is gonna go get a relief or two this trade season, and he is gonna pay for it, he is a buyer this year, not a seller, he may deal up a prospect, but mostly some cash to buy out a contract. I am faithful that the Braves will win the division.
On the other hand of the argument, the Mets, sure they have played good ball up till this point, but I am starting to see the numbers decline, Look at Pedro, sore hip, special shoes, blah blah blah blah, he is gonna steadily decline and be a 15 game winner this year, which doesn't putting him winning too many more games...The Mets have a bunch of marqee (sp?) players, but these players are prone to fatigue towrds the end, with the exception of wright, that is a ball player. I see the Mets being a 500 team through the second half, and I see the braves being more of a 600-650 team. Statistically speaking, the Braves won the division in 95 from 10 games back on July 22nd.
Braves for 15.
