i know the braves always start off slow and then make a run at the end to win the division, and have won like 14 straight divisions, but its not gonna happen this year. 6 game losing streak now, and the Mets just keep winning.

the braves are very disappointing this year, they loose way too damn much, its so frustrating they really suck this year plain and simple..no pitching, no hitting, tons of errors, very sloppy fundamentals. Every time we get the bases loaded, what happens, a popup, or inning ending double play, its like wtf, get it together. Giles does not hit anymore, Chipper rarely hits, 7hr's, while Pujols has like 25 or more?? Braves are very frustrating this year, and the bullpen, don't even get me started on how bad they reek..and all this is coming from a Braves fan of 17 years. Maybe they can pull a miracle.

well the lose of furcal def. hit hard. And our pitching absolutely blows! But I always believe in the Braves. Win or Lose. These guys will pull through. Hopefully Cox will slap a few of em around and get something started! Btw, Cox I swear is gonna have a heart attack soon cuz just about everygame he's yellin and screamin at someone!

i may be wrong, but i thought i heard that the braves have the highest runs per game in MLB....there hitting is fine, but the pitching SUCKS! the only reason i can think of is this: LEO MAZONE(sp)!

nah dude, the braves can barely get runners on base, and when they do, they strand them, I watch almost every game.

hell, i remember last game i saw a few weeks ago they left like 16 runners on base and i remember there being runners on 2nd and 3rd twice with 1 out and them not scoring

that doesn't matter. the bull pen will give up 4 runs in the next inning anyways.

the braves definately need someone to buy them that actually cares about baseball, like Ted Turner was, instead of AOL and all that bs, keep on selling the braves to companies that could careless if the braves win. The Braves need to have an owner like George Steinbrener of the Yankess, someone who doesn't play around, goes out and gets big name hitters, pitching and bullpen help. Thats what the braves need, lose the guys that never do anything including hit/pitch.
At this point, its like the braves have lost all steam and will continue to lose and lose and play shit baseball, our lineup just plain sucks. The Mets on the other hand, have Carlos Delgado, Pedro Martinez and Billy Wagner, those three alone are really good players that are known for it. The Mets actually have a really good team this year, they have more threats in their lineup then the braves, our threats, chipper and andruw have no really produced power numbers like they should, and Francoeur is not having the year like we all thought. I've been a braves fan for the past decade but its frustrating to watch them implode on themselves like this.

This is the farthest back the braves have been since....1990...yeah 1990...the year we didnt win the division and the year before our crazy long streak...so odds are they are not going to continue the streak.

Ya just gotta have faith...its still possible to win. BUT we've all been spoiled with the braves winning the past 14 years. I mean honestly NO ONE has done that before. Chipper may be a veteran to the team and winning. But, he's def. new to losing. These guys just dont know what to do, or where to fix it. Its time for drastic changes. Something needs to happen with the pitching.. we get pitching going...and we'll be set. Things will take care of themselves from then on out. The loading the base's and poping out is a part of baseball...once they get in the swing of things and start having FUN again....the wins will roll through and they will feel like the Atlanta Braves again!

chipper sucks, def. not worth the 15 mil. hes making... Yea hes a good player but his batting 200 something! The braves hitting has always been a little iffy, but its there picthing that has always won the games!(except the bullpen). I still think that its the absence of Leo Mazzone.

THE BRAVES SUCK!!! its sad that i think there were more red sox fans the other night than braves fans!...If u go to wrigley and fenway park they are packed! Braves fans just dont seem to really care..braves just cant get a win.....And why is adam laroche playing first instead of wilson betemit or brain jordan! i dont think it matters how bad ur division sucks, to make it to the post season 14 times in a row has never been done in ANY SPORT. The braves are way better than average in the last 14 years. Alot of the teams have won the world series from their division over the years. Not to mention the world series being won in 1995. Yea their divsion isnt the best, but to accomplish something that has never been done takes alot more than mediocracy....hope they can turn it around soon.....

they need more pitching...hudson cant do it alone...starting pitching is doing ok but the pens era is like 5.46 or some shit like that. everytime we play we get in a hole and when we can dig out, like the other night, some shitty pitcher gives up a bomb the next inning so we always play fucking catchup
