FWIW your predictions this year have been terrible Like 0-5 LOL

Keep making them Im sure at some point 1 will stick :P

Honestly the best bet for the Clippers IMO is to ditch granger, willie green, big baby, crawford and sign Parsons. Parsons will be a poor mans Melo, and hes super athletic

david west is far from supreme talent...... you missed those years in the NBA......

    remember the lakers TEAMS
    remember the spurs TEAMS

btw..... the NBA just put cp3 on the ALL NBA Defensive First Team, and the ALL NBA first team again...... he fucked up at the end of game 5, i agree. but that doesnt take away from the entire season.....

the spurs are the best TEAM in the NBA. The ? is ..... will Lebron/Wade/Bosh's Greatness surpass their TEAM not being better....

0-5 LMAO. how did you come up with that?

parson's isn't good enough to win a championship. houston couldn't get close to beating us in a series... we need NOTHING from their roster....

big baby and granger are cheap vets. the only way to let one of them go would be granger, and thats only to get a STARTING SF.....

i know my team. I knew we would get doc. i know doc isn't done......

JARED DUDLEY is the one who HAS to leave..... eric bledsoe was traded for him...... terrible!
JJ redick was traded for caron butler..... VERY SOLID deal and it paid off, he will be a clipper for the next 3-4 years at least. sniper from the field....

AGAIN i hate to keep saying this. SF position and overall team defense is what the clippers will change.... watch and see...

And all NBA first team means you are the BEST in the NBA at your position...... voted on by the same people who vote MVP. you're making your points match my argument.

there is only one PG on the ALL NBA team...... name the other one please.... rose? rondo? curry? parker? ..... no, that means they aren't the best at their position in the league. REGARDLESS of how dominant your TEAM is (or having the best PF in the history of the sport)

Best at position is not the same as BEST IN THE LEAGUE.

How do you not understand this? All NBA 1st team is LESS THAN MVP.

    9 Years.

You make excuses for him, I dont.

You dismiss his early years because he had no talent (when he probably had more talent than LBJ)
You dismiss his early years because other teams were better and he didnt have a TEAM
CP3 is traded to a much better team then:
You dismiss last year because of VDN
You dismiss this year because they "didnt learn Docs defensive system"

Cmon, its excuse after excuse after excuse. WIN. WIN WIN WIN. Dont lose and then blame everything BUT the player.

Hes probably the best PG in the league, no problem, but what is that worth? Apparently its not worth:
    An MVP
    A finals Appearance
    A ring

You must not watch Houston play. Parsons is a starting SF and hes much better defensively than Melo , and , hes younger, and hes cheaper. I would grab him if I was the LAC.

JARED DUDLEY is the one who HAS to leave..... eric bledsoe was traded for him...... terrible!
Was pretty terrible but you got Reddick for him too IIRC.

It was , you traded Caron Butler/Bledsoe for Reddick and Dudley it only cost you 1 2nd round pick. So , it wasnt that bad a deal. Bledsoe was nice but someone was going to overpay him.
JJ redick was traded for caron butler..... VERY SOLID deal and it paid off, he will be a clipper for the next 3-4 years at least. sniper from the field....
Not really. See above. It was a multiple team deal.

AGAIN i hate to keep saying this. SF position and overall team defense is what the clippers will change.... watch and see...
So you wouldnt sign arguably one of the best SFs in the leaqgue in parsons? makes sense

    These predictions are funny.

    OKC WONT BEAT US!
    GSW WONT WIN ANOTHER GAME!
OKC WONT WIN A GAME IN LA
Add this to it I guess

Tp is the best pg in the league.

He shifts gears when it matters. Tp has elevated his team to championships, took over games, hit the game winning shots....

When you put up stats is just as important as the stats you put up.

Cp3 is a mustang who spends the entire season in 5th gear.

Tp is a lamborghini who doesnt take the cruise controll off untill the playoffs.

Westbrook is a ferrari with a drunk driver at the wheel

That is FAR MORE likely, but again, I would make a run at Parsons first.

    Melo
    Parsons
    PP

in that order. Pierce might be the best because of the Vet Min + bonus

I still think the best PURE PG is still CP3. hes a better defender, better passer, better rebounder.

Tony Parker is a MUCH better scorer than Cp3 and I think his basketball IQ is MUCH higher. He knows how to exploit pick and rolls and score , I dont see that from CP3. CP3 only really reads the mismatches when its blatant. Parker makes a much better decisions under duress.

Now, parker PRIME vs CP3.............. I would take Parker, hes got "IT" when it counts, something i have not seen from CP3, yet.

Westbrook is a ferrari with a drunk driver at the wheel
Agreed. I really think they should move him to SG.

CP3 needs more WB, and WB needs more CP3. Tony Parker has been able to meld both of them VERY well, which is largely due to Pop

I disagree again, he has got to know this is about legacy. he wants to WIN. If he wants to WIN, he goes to the best place for him to win.

On paper its Houston, in reality its probably more like Atlanta.

HES NOT GOING TO LA. It would be the DUMBEST move HE EVER made. Play next to INJURY ridden KOBE who is a BALL dominator JUST like him? The only way he goes to LAL is if the Lakers pull off some miracle and land Kevin Love and/or RW.

    Not happening.

he wants to WIN NOW, he would be better off staying in NY than LA.

Start Granger and get him healthy and bring barnes off bench.... and see if the chemistry takes you over the next step. this was a very unhealthy season for the team as a whole....

bte hollins will be gone via free agency.... and so will hedu turk.... so there will definitely be changes to get a SF

oh yea and the clippers over gsw too..... sorry

and i was wrong about okc. game 5 ended the series..... but definitely not without controversy.... to say the least. durant is loved, we all know that. but he is no champion, as isnt chris paul. they are both in the top 5 in the NBA every season and it looks to be that way for a while longer.....

    Dirk isnt going anywhere

Rudy gay isnt going anywhere. He has a player option IIRC that pays him 19 million? hes not going ANYWHERE. he will stay in Sac Town cause no one else is paying him 19 million

Granger looks like his best times are clearly behind him. Barnes, hes your best option at SF which is kind of a problem (i like barnes too hes a good player). Seriously Parsons or Pierce is prob the best option. Not sure PP is a viable starter anymore, Parsons would push you into elite team status.

Parsons numbers are phenomenal considering hes easily the teams 3rd or 4th best option. The clippers he would be a surefire #3 option, he has outside shooting, he plays great defense and you can get him for prob 10 million

Melo would be ideal but hes going to get 19-20 million

atlanta would probably be one of the top 3-4 situations for him i agree........

clippers..... cp3 and he lives in los angeles, its his home now.... and doc rivers
bulls........ rose, noah, and coach tom.......
    houston...... harden, dwight, beverly (defensively)
atlanta....... teague, lou(possibly), millsap, healthy horford..... great new coach ( and in weak east conf)

Atlanta because with Millsap and Horford healthy, he would get so many open looks it would be insane. It would be like the olympic team for him. Korver would move to the bench.

They would have so much outside scoring it would be incredible, with Horford inside they would still have a post presence.

Clippers is the ideal spot but they cant afford him IMO. They would have to prob give up DJ to get him

Houston is not picking up his option, therefore any team can offer him anything, and houston has 3 days to match. we are about to find out what hes worth. If Clippers offer him 10 million, they are going to call Melo and say "whats the deal"

If melo declines, then Parsons stays in houston. If Melo agrees, Parsons is gone to whatever team offers.

If melo declines, then Parsons stays in houston. If Melo agrees, Parsons is gone to whatever team offers.
Parsons is a better defender than paul p. but not melo man, i watched melo lock up durant this year and in a clipper jersey okc wouldnt have a advantage at that position. but who knows.....

they may, knowing that one player would change EVERYTHING. PLUS maybe melo decides to make less NBA money and UP his off court $$$$ endorsement wise.... you see how "hollywood paul and BG are" .... they make damn good $ off the court too now.... plus its his home. who knows....

Melo wont sign for 1 penny less than his maximum contract. Hes not a "take one for the team" kind of guy.

Pop isnt pop without a humble superstar like duncan believing him. When a player like duncan has the coaches back.... you better fall in line or get packing.

I dont agree with that anymore. I think there was a time he was like that, and look what happened, he gutted the Knicks and got stuck there with a major market and all the scrutiny that comes with it.

I watched him play last year, and, im not sure hes that selfish player anymore. He was the ONLY one playing his ass off and while I agree hes a ball stopper, in the right system he can flourish.

i agree. him on a contender.... hell not only that, but the deeper your team goes in the playoffs the more you make. hell paul george made 7 million for making the all nba THIRD team.....

they all are rich, melo says he wants to win now. lets see what his actions tell us.....

    Lock durant down?

    12/25
    OKC Wins
Durant goes for 29/7/6 62% FG Shooting, 67% 3pt Shooting
    Anthony - DID NOT PLAY

    02/09
    OKC Wins
Durant goes for 41/10/9 55% FG Shooting, 57% 3pt Shooting

    Melo 15 points 26% shooting

Melo is NOT a better player than Durant. Its not even CLOSE.

Carmelo Anthony vs. Kevin Durant Comparison:

my bad i actually think that mightve been last year i was thinking about.....

anyway.... not sure how much melo is gonna care about a NBA deal.... he makes 9 million a year off endorsements (going to a better team will likely jump that number up)

I think it was the year before when Melo was really on fire, but even then he barely beat KD out for the scoring title (it was by like .1 points IIRC). Melo has 4+ years in the league compared to Durant, and its not even close how much better Durant is.

Melo has a tough decision, and its going to be like Revis IMO. Hes going to have to decide being PAID and winning but being paid fair. hes had a taste of being PAID and having no talent. Even LBJ took a "pay cut".

I think if the clippers Really want him, its going to take 15-18 million to pry him from NY without significantly blowing up the Clippers team. The clippers are paid for , they are like the pacers, this is their team for the next 2-3 years. They dont NEED melo, they could find someone else IMO, but Melo would be the "sure thing".
