GREAT Play by Cam Newton, he really shined last night. Made great throws, great runs, probably the best read option QB in the league right now. You know why? Because he is prob the best pocket passer out of all the read option guys, at least last night he was.
Aqib Talib is CLEARLY still hurt. he let Steve Smith outrun him multiple times last night, i cant believe Smith didnt have more yards. Also, what was with the beef they had? We lost the game on Ridleys Fumble inside the redzone. We would have walked away with at least 3, maybe 7. That was the game, with so few possessions, that killed us.
TERRIBLE MISSED CALL AT THE END. Clearly Pass Interference, I do not buy the "he couldnt have caught the ball" , its FUCKING GRONKOWSKI. How do we know the ball doesnt get tipped like in the UGAvs AUB game? Or If Gronk could have made it back to catch the ball if LK wasnt bear hugging him? Clearly PI, Ref was correct to throw flag, got scared into putting it back in his pocket. AMEN to Brady berating the officials, glad he did it.

Getting toward the end of the season and i finally get good consistant RBs but still struggling on the WRs. Oh well always next year. Was really hoping to squeak that win out against the #1 guy sin lol

was it pass interference? yes, but i think the ball would have been intercepted no matter what.
What i'm a bit confused by today when watching sportscenter is that everyone is making the tipped ball argument......... referencing AJ Green's TD catch last week and the Auburn catch.......
ummm...... once the ball is tipped, the WR is no longer protected, if the ball is tipped, you can knock the WR's dick in the dirt and it isnt pass interference.
IMO, because LK grabbed Gronk as he entered the endzone, we never know what would have happened. Gronk is big and mobile enough to make that catch or make a play on it. If LK didnt hold him, Who is to say the ball isnt tipped by Gronk going for it and its caught by Amendola or Gronk etc.....
You ahve to give the WR a chance to make a play, LK just didnt allow that.
Gronk should have shoved LK to the ground and made it more obvious.

I agree. It's PI all the way..... i just think it would have been intercepted no matter what. The ball was pretty low.
They picked up the flag based on the judgment call that the ball was uncatchable for Gronk.... which was true, is was uncatchable for Gronk.... but only because he was damn near tackled in the endzone. If not for the PI, Gronk would have been in the field of play for that catch, but i think the inside DB had a bead on it and was gonna int it either way.
It was the wrong call..... but i dont feel it altered the path of the universe.
I will do my best to beat jdm this week for yall :P
