    For sure.

I'm listing off some of the bands that had a great run in the 90s and either broke up shortly thereafter or just starting sucking.
Jawbreaker, Refused, Helmet, Pennywise, Foo Fighters, Sponge, Soul Coughing, Face to Face, Local H, Smashing Pumpkins, Reel Big Fish, Sublime, Hum, Fugazi.

But more often when i think 90s, I think of the shit like Third Eye Blind, STP, Pearl Jam, old Korn, none of which would be considered musical highpoints for the decade.

Soundgarden, Collective Soul, Hootie, At the Drive In, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, and Dream Theater, all though technically they started in the 80s they were popular in the 90s.

Silverchair, Counting Crows, Green Day, Soundgarden, Bush, Foo Fighters, NOFX, etc. etc. I could go on and on.

Somehow I forgot my favorite 90's band. Pearl Jam FTW!

Is your google broken? They're still around, just came out with a new cd a year or two back, but they havent had a song on the radio since Molly or a big hit since Plowed. I'd say they were one of the most underrated bands of the 90s pop rock scene, Plowed still gets airplay on quite a few stations
