ive been stuck on single player on veteran the last few days...lol im usually a Multiplayer only type of guy..But the SP in MW2 is sooo fun!! i love the storyline... and its hard onveteran.. but its still fun as hell! well worth a play at least one time thru.

Seems my game decided to freeze up while playing the other day, and then what sounded like the disc jumping around inside the system. Manage to get the disc out and I have almost 5 perfect rings on the disc. Which is now unreadable.

Yeah I have it upright, but the shit is, if you read the xbox shit, microsoft says to keep it vertical for best heat dissipation
when i had a 360 i always kept it horizontal and never EVER had problems with cd scratches/RRoD
I use to do that all the time as well, and still got a RRoD. Then thats where I found they say to keep the game vertical for the heat dissipation
well then theres ur problem. lay it flat and make sure it has space and you will be fine. ive never had any heat problems with my xbox and i know ive gone about 6+ on that damn console. and who the hell reads those things that come with the console. its like reading directions on how to put something together, guys just take the parts and put them together

Actually the RRoD is caused by a overheating in the chipset/motherboard. THats why when you send a XboX in and it comes back with a little piece of paper saying how to stop this from happening. Thats what it means.

Just got off the phone with Gamestop. Guy told me to bring it up today, and he will swap it out for a new one. Say's its actually quite common to happen. Said if the disc gets slightly off balance it will get to close to the lazer reader, and the reader will in turn put burn marks on it.

i like to carry a sniper rifle and a machine gun so i can play both ways. depending on the spot, i will milk as many kills as possible out of it and stay cautious as to who is coming up and try to knife me.
i snipe till i die. basically i snipe in one positions fending off as many as i can and if i die i die. i use the w2000 (the plywood lookin sniper) and the m93 raffika (3 shot burst pistol) and claymore (i HATE how you only get 1 claymore)
IF you have to use an M16, that means basically you have no skill to the game. The FAL is the best weapon!
Also on sniping! I am 1.5 k/d ratio and almost 22% on accuracy.
I have a 1.56 KDratio with 13% accuracy lol, i dont really aim down the sites that often i usually spray and pray and strafe duck and dive the shit out of them so they cant hit me. It works all the time, but if they are far away obviously i would aim down the sites.
I don't normally snipe but when i do i use the ACOG scope on the w2000 thing and run around. I like the inventor sniper rifle with the ACOG also. shits a beast, just like the m40 sniper rifle in COD4.

thats exactly how i feel, sniping is boring, BUT with the acog it gives you the ability to run up on people and quick scope. I dont know what it is but i love bolt action 1 shot kills lol it gives me more satisfaction. and plus its more fun and challenging while a guy is spraying the shit out of you with a machine gun. mmmm i think ima play some WaW later lolol. kar98 + bayonet FTW!

For those that think sniping is boring, you are sniping wrong. I love slowly moving around the map, looking for people with a sniper, its rare that I try and stay in one spot often, unless its a great spot and am getting alot of kills from it!
i used to use bling pro all the time (m4 with red dot and grenade launcher), but when you get to killstreaks you run out of ammo QUICK! lol i hate how they give you little ammo in this game. but with scavanger pro ( pro is equal to bandolier plus you get to pick up ammo from dead bodies no matter what gun they had)
im only on like level 25 havent played much.
i use the Tar21 or Scar,USP45,throwing knife,slight of hand,stopping power and shoot form hip one.
if i do snipe its with the intervention.
thats why i LOVE hardcore none of this running around rambo shit I love sneaking around and pretty much on your toes the whole time.

shit I hate playing normal. I have had to many times where I run up on someone, starting shotting them, they turn around and then kill me. or times when someone takes a sniper bullet with FMJ to the chest and keep going
yea,i like it cause its a bolt action...ive never liked semi auto rifles.
one thing i dont like about the snipers is that they made the barret a little weaker in this game no? It doesn't feel as beastly compared to the COD4 one. or is it just me?
