Ryan's stats are among the best of any rookie QB in the history of the NFL as of now.

Idk, if you look at the fact that he's a rookie he is pretty damn special, and not short bus special. Time will tell as to what he will become.

i hope to see him play again. on the other hand the new qb for atl is sick. his numbers and percentage are already better than the mannings when they first started.

i guess by special u mean not running around trying to make plays by himself?

ryan has very good head on his shoulders,he is showing tons of promise

and somehow this terriable receving core when vick was starter, well they look pretty damn good now that they have a real QB instead of a money making side show

that receiving core sure let ryan down in the carolina game...7 dropped passes. and yeah if i was a playmaker liked vick, and my receivers was not putting on, then hell yeah i would run with it. i like ryan, i dont take anything from him, but i have seen ryan under or over throw like a motha trying to force the ball due to intense pressure that he cant escape with his feet.

Ray (not Jamal) Lewis got obstruction of justice with regards to the murder case. Each player that breaks the law should be treated the same and dealt with accordingly.

However, Vick bankrolled the dogfighting, and killed multiple dogs (which can get you 5 years EACH DOG). He then failed a drug test, which was one of the few requirements he had from the judge. What a fucking MORON! He should have been happy with his millions upon millions of legitimate dollars, but he threw it away.

He isn't some guy that just happened to have a couple bulldogs and see if they would fight, and killed one. He was a big part of an illegal gambling operation. He got off LUCKY. He deserves NOTHING. He should be extremely grateful that he could get a chance at all to play in the NFL.

Are you really serious? You talk about someone riding cock...you seem to have a kung-fu grip on M. Vick's...

If Ryan is decent, then what is Michael Vick? He had more time on the bench then Ryan got, and still couldn't run a consistent offense. I think it's funny that once he was gone Roddy white had a breakout year, with Joey Harrington throwing him the ball. Vick was a great athlete, but came up waaaay short as an NFL QB. Good Riddance! I would be happy if the Falcons got a 3rd round pick for him.

first off, a offense consistency is not necessarily based on the QB, it can be coaching, surrounding players and ryan has seen just how inconsistent the falcons can be when the pressure is intense(panthers, buccaneers, eagles game.). if vick was not a NFL capable QB, then he would not have gotten drafted so high(or drafted as a QB), made all this money in endorsements, and a big NFL contract. come on man its common sense, a sorry ass QB would not be making bank like vick. and about the cock riding? lol i did not come on here praising around like vick is this and that, now did i? alright now sit down.

Common sense would tell you that a players salary does not always reflect his play on the field. When you have a GM like Rich Mckay you tend to overpay for mediocre talent. And wtf does endorsements have to do with anything? Brady Quinn has endorsements, and what has he done in the NFL?

As much promise as Vick had, he was OVERRATED. He was far from the most accurate QB in the NFL when he played. He got all of those endorsements because when a play fucked up he could just run it 50 yards. He is one of the best athletes to ever play, but Ryan will be a much better QB. Everyone rides Vick's nuts because if you look at the crazy runs he would make he seems much better than he really is. Ryan is overrated too, but Vick would not have done as well had he started right out of college. Ryan isn't that special, but he probably will be in a couple years. After Vick's stupid mistake we had to get a new franchise player to represent Atlanta, and Ryan will fill Vick's shoes and more imo. If we can improve our running game (namely by not picking a stupid ass run play everytime) then Vick will be a thing of the past.

i dont think ryan will necessarily fill vicks shoes because of how much vick amped up the franchise and that QB position, but he will be heard down in atlanta. i dont think vick was necessarily overrated, but he was not mediocre, chad pennington, david carr, joey herrington now those guys are mediocre.

Ryan won't generate the same excitement, but personally I would rather see the Falcons win. Granted Vick didn't have as good of a team to work with, but he was pretty inconsistent. Like I said, his athleticism was his strong point, not his actual skill as a QB. I was and still am a big fan of Vick, but I'd be very willing to bet Ryan will surpass what Vick was within a few years as a QB. Only time will tell I suppose.

And as for Vick going to Detroit, I would hate to see that. He needs to be put on a good team so he can fully develop his skill and decision making as a QB. When he was with us he had to do too much to support the team, and I think that might have held him back.

yeah i hear what you saying about him having to do so much which probably was not so good for him or any player to have to do. i think adrian peterson is one of those athletes as well thats going to be expected to do too much cause the vikings be running him alot.
