Honestly I think people should let him do what he wants. Football has obviously been his life and he has said he was never sure of his decision.

Like Tony said when you lose something like that you go downhill physically and mentally. I can relate as I ran track and cross country from junior high all the way through high school. I lived breathed and ate running. Getting up at 5 and breathing in that cool crisp air with a select few was one of the best parts of my day. I have a lot of great memories with people I wouldn't have met had it not been for Track. I wish I could still run competitively but I made some dumb decisions and developed a bad case of runners knee that keeps me from trying to do anything too agressive.
