And i gurantee you that most graphics card will be going in the direction of using the technology from the PS3 if thats where all the game developing is going to develop first now, it has nothing to do with Microsoft running the Operating System on the majority of computers, that has no effect on the grahpics be run on the cards and the hardware, computers are already getting Blu ray drives, i only imagine the graphics cards are on their way to changing, it only makes sense financially.
100 gb is the new groundbreaking on hard drives??? A terabyte is nothing when it comes to technology, 100gb is all they economically decided to put in there to save buck and satisfy the majority at the same time. You can burn through 100gb in no time if you are a techie.
And who cares if the Wii uses SD? they aren't in the same market as Xbox 360 and PS3 are, that caters to a different buyer, the hardware is not an issue.
And it is ALL ABOUT THE MEDIA AND THE HARDWARE. That disk space of 100 gb means nothing, absolutely nothing on your hard drive, that is easily upgradeable and means slightly faster load times. When you look at the fact that games can now be made on a blu-ray disk with 50 gb capacity as opposed to tops 10gb on an xbox 360... you do the math on the amount of not only graphics capability but game content you can put in there on a system that is for more superior at reading it and displaying it for a much higher quality display.
And don't call me a fanboy, i have owned all 3 systems and now own none; found other needs for my money at the time then video games (not hating on them, i love nerding out). I just have no idea why 360 owners are still griping and trying to bust a nut over there system, its not the best anymore get over it.
But admit your technology is ancient, its okay, you don't have to get protective over your obsessive love for that little white box that sounds like an aircraft is about to launch out of it.
