Exactly how many updates and revisions has the 360 seen since it's induction? Anything would have been nice, but the 360 users have been sitting with the same system for how long now? If paying for movie rentals with Microsoft credits instead of over the phone fits your fancy, then enjoy the Netflix feature.

PS3 has Blu-Ray, backwards compatibility with older games (60GB & 80GB), free online play, and a ton of other features that I'm too lazy to mention.

You can call me a fanboy all you want, but I've had both a 360 and a PS3. From what I've experienced, the PS3 is the better system by far and I am very glad I got a PS3 instead of another 360. Game developers now agree since titles will now be formatted for the PS3's superior capabilities then adjusted (downgraded) to the 360.

I agree. It's sad how many people don't realize that the hardware is exactly the same, it just has new controllers. Then again, the interactive feature has made it a VERY fun system.

xbox had backward compatibility w/ most of the games that are worth a sh!t http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/back...ygameslist.htm we've had hardware upgrades for a while 120gb and if you want to hack you can go as large as you would like - we have also had full network integration w/ your windows enviroment; i love being able to synch my laptop to my tv and rock out to tunes or watch free downloaded movies (ie. porn). though we pay for online play xbox has dominated the online console market since the release of Xbox live. And downgrading what? i'm sorry but though blu ray has 25+gb of space i in no fashion need to play a game that requires 10-20gb of cinetamatics - RPGs aren't my thing. if you like shooters 360 has it in the bag. Beyond anything 360 has always been cheaper and has been working a full year ahead of competitors on release.

The 360's BW compatibility is laughable and the game list from the original XBOX is laughable. You get Halo, Forza, and PGR. In all seriousness, that's about it. Hardware upgrades are hardly anything worth boasting about as both the PS3 and 360 has stuff you buy for your system. Hacking, since it was brought up, is completely irrelevant.

You actually go through the trouble of starting your system, starting you computer, and turning on your TV to stream music or videos from your computer to your TV? Seems a bit tedious just to watch a pirated movie or stream music. Why not just download the content to the 360 and skip a few steps? IMO, this is a worthless feature.

Of course it has, it had no competition until the PS3 launched. With constant updates to the interface, software, and not having to pay for it, it's only a matter of time before the PSN overtakes XBOX Live.

RPG's are the only games that will benefit from the PS3's greater capabilities. Gameplay, features, interfaces, sound, basic visual appeal, everything gets upgraded. Not just cinematics (which is about 80% of a FF game lol). If Microsoft is smart, they'll be going Blu-Ray with their next system.

I'm not going to bash you for liking the 360. Hell, I loved mine when I had it. XBOX Live and all. Yet after having made the swap to the PS3, I haven't looked back.

dude network integration rules man - i used to have a standalone media box (which i plan on buying another) but why would it download it to 360 considering i'm always on my laptop? it is way easier to just synch them. i am not sure if blu-ray is the way to go; i think you'll start to see the next 360 resemble a pc. that is the way to go - blu ray is only media but the future of gaming isn't going to require media so drive space/bandwidth is the future. now with solid state drives breaking the 100+gb range future is looking good.

What on earth are you talking about?

If you want network and media integration its all about the PS3, built in blu-ray player, free internet, wifi, bluetooth, expandable hard drive, the list goes on and on.

And i gurantee you that most graphics card will be going in the direction of using the technology from the PS3 if thats where all the game developing is going to develop first now, it has nothing to do with Microsoft running the Operating System on the majority of computers, that has no effect on the grahpics be run on the cards and the hardware, computers are already getting Blu ray drives, i only imagine the graphics cards are on their way to changing, it only makes sense financially.

100 gb is the new groundbreaking on hard drives??? A terabyte is nothing when it comes to technology, 100gb is all they economically decided to put in there to save buck and satisfy the majority at the same time. You can burn through 100gb in no time if you are a techie.

And who cares if the Wii uses SD? they aren't in the same market as Xbox 360 and PS3 are, that caters to a different buyer, the hardware is not an issue.

And it is ALL ABOUT THE MEDIA AND THE HARDWARE. That disk space of 100 gb means nothing, absolutely nothing on your hard drive, that is easily upgradeable and means slightly faster load times. When you look at the fact that games can now be made on a blu-ray disk with 50 gb capacity as opposed to tops 10gb on an xbox 360... you do the math on the amount of not only graphics capability but game content you can put in there on a system that is for more superior at reading it and displaying it for a much higher quality display.

And don't call me a fanboy, i have owned all 3 systems and now own none; found other needs for my money at the time then video games (not hating on them, i love nerding out). I just have no idea why 360 owners are still griping and trying to bust a nut over there system, its not the best anymore get over it.

But admit your technology is ancient, its okay, you don't have to get protective over your obsessive love for that little white box that sounds like an aircraft is about to launch out of it.
