electronic music is a very broad genre, trance is completely different from techno, and then even trance has different subgenres. i threw some house stuff in the list up there since it's got a trance vibe to it, so you might like.
DJ sweegy is pretty good

I hate techno and house! Jungle and break core FTW!
only if you do a lot of e. but i think that's the general idea behind that kind of music. rolls and glowsticks.Originally Posted by Tracy

Break Core is definitely NOT for the fairy's on E. It's more like for the Metal heads who like a little bass incorporated into their head banging. I guess that's why I like jungle and old school hip hop. I'm into it for the lows.
every time ive been to an event where they've had a few djs who spun break core(which really hasn't been many, so i might have the wrong idea), all the kids dancing to BC looked like they were having drug-induced seizures, except while standing. i just cant see to anyone listening to it at home to relax, its completely chaotic.Originally Posted by Tracy
and i've never been to either of the clubs you mentioned. i tend to avoid clubs that play exclusively electronic music when i'm in the states though, since they typically attract primarily junkie ravers and guidos, neither of which i give two ****s for. i go to clubs for girls, not rolling and dancing by myself with a glowstick ball(i think its called an orbital), so i go to mainstream hip hop clubs. but hey everyone's entitled to have fun in their own way, so if ravers wanna do their thing i can respect that.

Who said anything about relaxing? I listen to Kieth Sweat for that I hope you don't listen to trance for relaxation I've never even been to a party since break core came out...so I don't know how they get down at the parties. Kids these days scare me.Originally Posted by disrupt
Astral Projection is an Israeli trance group, not really popular... but they have some great songs.
So yeah, Paul Oakenfold, Armin van Burin, Tiesto, Paul Van Dyke, Crystal Method, DJ Micro, Ferry Corsten if you like that kind of music you will also enjoy Fluke, Juno Reactor and Prodigy.
wth, why wouldn't i?Originally Posted by Tracy
i think you've got the completely wrong idea of what comprises trance music. i don't see whats weird about putting oakenfold's 'flesh'(just an example) on repeat, throwing my sennheisers over my ears and falling asleep.
and astral projection is pretty big for what they are, it's just that not too many people listen to goa
tiesto, amrin van burren, dj doboy, daft punk(not techno but more electronic), and if you're into that hard techno... look up hardstyle into google some artists include... alpha twins, bass agents, dark by design, headhunterzz
92' Specialized Rock hopper
04 Civic EX
Ridgewalkers
Lange
Anything by andy Moor, or any song by any other person remixed by him.

Maor Levi

but drum & bass is my passion. for d&b, check out:
High Contrast (liquid funk, kind of a housey sound)
Duo Infernale (very chill)
LTJ Bukem (atmospheric, very very chill lounge style music)
Pendulum (high tempo wobble tunes)
Stepkilla (check out his 21 Tune Salute mix for some awesome jungle)
Bassdrive (awesome drum & bass internet radio station)
Andy C (a god of Drum & Bass, find his Essential Mix)
Noisia (very dark drum & bass from netherlands)
Tech Itch (more dark, hard drum & bass)
if anyone interested in pickin up some drum & bass or trance sets, hit me up and let me see what I can do for ya. I'm sittin on 147GB of music right now but I don't share single songs, only sets. I got a ton of ragga-jungle type stuff
omg someone knows breakcore?! fantastic. theres some really awesome breakcore out nowadays...Bong-Ra & Aaron Spectre for 2....FFF is pretty hot too. heres a nice breakcore set for anyone interseted:Originally Posted by Tracy

Not to hijack the tread or nothing, but anyone know of any Drum & Bass or Jungle events in the southern half of the state or know where I could find out if there's any?
