in a technical sense they have already merged..it happened a while ago. But, when they officially announce the merger, which should be some time this year, they are still going to keep it two separate stations. This is to avoid the idea of a monopoloy. Anyways, when they do merge, i had heard that you may be able to take packages from one provider and put it on the other giving you a lot more flexability when listening
