I like my D it was cheaper than a B and it was a easier for my first swap. Once I get the bugs worked out it will be good.

D is definatly cheaper but turbo is the only way to make power. Im totally opposed to boosting a motor that was never meant to be boosted So n/a d-series is the out of the question. B-series all the way! K-series one day.... one day

Well hooked up my new mechanical oil pressure gauge and the sender is good both gauges drop pressure as the temps get higher. So I pulled my oil pan off and guess what. A6 and Z6 oil pans are totally different.
See what I mean.

The Z6 oil pan is about 1.5" deeper witch means the oil pick up was smashed into the pan. I haven't put it wack on yet due to I think my finger is broke from yesterday. But whatever.

Also heres my geto mounted gauge. Temporarry mount just to see the pressure.
This was at WOT and almost redline.

The Z6 oil pan was on the motor when I got it but it has a huge dent in the front of it. Thats why I put the A6 oil pan on I didn't even notice the difference untill now.

edit: finally got my oem tail lights... traded some random guy i meet in the dawsonville Mcdonalds... hes got a clean champ white eg6 and I invited him to join the sqaud and come to the BBQ
