first time I pulled the trans out of the crx it took me 3 days to get both of them off. Thats with no air tools. whut I did was left one rim on and on the ground and the other rim off. Put a brakerbar and a 6ft pipe and had someone hold the brakes on and then me and a friend hung on the bar and it finaly broke free. Now I put antiseize on the threads and make sure the punch down on the bolt is all down.

Yup- dun it. I have a very impressive breaker bar as well as a great pry bar. I guess I will just have to tell my wife I need some air tools. Darn!

I got fed up with fighting bolts and thats why I bought my air tools. It took me about 30min to pull my trans out and it was well worth it.

Eddie I love the way your camera brought the plum color on my car out. i will no longer take pix from my phone camera. its such a huge difference in how they come out looking. i will just have to learn how to use the Canon now .

edit: nevermind, i read your thread about the guy from tennessee.. cant believe he didnt buy it just because it had new unpainted parts on it. he must really not have been looking for a car to fix up... oh well, keep trying man
