But even if you get an aftermarket front tow hook, when they pull it onto the truck, you will still kiss your lip good byeI've had my car towed before I put my front lip on and it still dragged the bumper(no lip), and front cross member. I now carry a Philips head and a 10mm socket to take the bumper off in case of a towing situation.
Some track org. required an external front tow hook, in case of an engine failure, etc, in which the just hook a strap to you and literally tow you back to the pits.

Lower isn't always better unless you've got the correct spring rates and shortened shocks or extended tophats, not to mention any camber correction. That honestly sounds better than running a tow hook!.
If your car needs to be towed and it is "slammed" just easily remove the bumper cover and then you will have access to the factory tow hooks.
I like the idea of taking the few minutes to uninstall the bumper cover rather then having to watch my lip be ripped off my front bumper.
