I rode to the V today and the construction was sick, traffic as far as the eye could see.

It was nice riding with you guys. I actually got lost lol but luckily made it back to 400. Saw alot of Forsyth Police on the way home. That was fun just to far to ride, my as.s started to get sore on the way home.

Glad you made it back ok. I had a friend a while back who was CRAZY, but one time we were going to go out for a ride around the loop his tire looked like yours before we even left, lol. He said F it, i'll just stay on the edges

After we got back he did a burnout on it at the end of the road, and it lasted .02 seconds. Good times

Maybe next time we can plan on doing a weekday run, so we can get some clean roads to drive on.

something told me to get on 285, but I was stubborn

lol. I rode the emergency lane all the way to get off at the GT exit

I didn't really see a reason for me to burn in the hot as.s sun with everyone else

Tony i was smart enough to take 285 and it was smooth sailing untill i got to cascade and seen this camry's tire blow out, the car smacked the cement wall. i saw all that traffic this morning and was like, well if it was jam packed at 7:30 in the morning the i knew it would be fuccked up later in the evening.i also ran across a funeral convoy of about 50 cars on 400 that kinda slowed everyone down.

and thanks tony, i'm glad i have ur approval of being a good person, lol. you know i got ur back bro. but there is a 50 cent interest charge on each loan you took out. i know where you live punk so dont be runnin.

Definately a great time, guys. Must do it again soon, while weather is still warm.
Pleasure meeting all of you guys.
Definately need better tires next time I go. That'll unfortunately have to come out of the engine fund, setting me back a bit...

Anyway...it was a blast, but I'm not getting stuck behind allans dad again next time we go up. It was fine just gettign used to the roads, but afterwards...wasnt feeling it so much.

haha, yea i told ya he takes it easy man. his name is "pops" and he's 60 years old, what do you expect? . he's just not down for pushing his car to the extreme, and chancing totalling the car he put so much money into, and believe me, he's dumped plenty of money into that thing.

. Konstantine, im glad you got ur first taste of the mountains. but even when you do get tires, after you leave the mountains you will still be begging for more. thats why i keep comming back. the more experience, the more you can push your vehicle, which makes the experience more enjoyable IMO

I know i wear this line out but... its much more enjoyable if the run is able to be done during the week! I know its hard, i work too, but the roads are very clear, very little traffic & law enforcement. Plus no hecks angels and lance armstrongs clogging up the roadway.

yeah alan we were have a good time, once i get my new hatch (soon hopefully) my suspension is going to have a huge over hual. "pops" was kool as hell, i already expected him to be taking it easy... shiit if my hatch was as nice as his i would baby it up there too.

kevin u are now addicted to curves, same goes for u konstantine. i promis u, u guys are going to start looking at curves totally different now that u know how much fun they can be. just get ur suspension where it needss to be and dial it in, then u will be able to run up front. just keep in mind it takes time to get everything where it needs to be, remember that ur safty and everyone else's on the road is #1.

Green91 (cant remember ur name) i am down for a week day run, but it might have to wait till next summer since i just made Technician (finally) i really cant take off of work. + i would really like to get another hatch and get all my new suspension before next summer. but if i find the time to take off before it starts to get cold i'll hit u and brad up.

but week runs are indeed hard to do. it'd be a challenge for me to get up there during the week due to traffic, as well as everyone els. :\

for sure man. you were pretty big competition for me. i think that trip was the hardest i've pushed the car to date.

yea, everyone thinks my dad is a trip man, lol. yea, he just likes to make sure he comes back home with his car, where as me... i want to make sure i enjoy myself as much as possible, because mountain runs, sadly, are few and far between.

actually my dillership is #1 in the nation in service sales for GM, even now wit the economyin the shiiter most Techs are turnig about 50-60hrs a week. + working for GM means u will always have a broken car and u know wit times like these that means job security. i went to school @ gwinnett tech and was in the toyota program, but i knew where the money was so i went that way. lol

To me meets are useless and not much of anything gets done, I have to take off work + lose money from now working etc. but mountain runs, drag strip, track events etc are worth it.

but i hear ya ben, i enjoy meeting all the new peoples and shootin teh sh1t with the people i allready know. but mountain runs, and dyno meets, etc, are more enjoyable for sure.

As stated...I can't wait to play with ya'll in the twisties, again...it's really got me trying to find time/money to build another to play up there with ya'll...I'd probably do a 2000challenge. 2000$ to buy and build an EF and whatever it is is what it is...

I'd be down for a Tues or Wed run. Its actually a lot easier for me to do that than to get any other days off.

Ohh and I found out what the squeaking was. I tore a few bushings lol. Time for a poly kit.
