    Default QUESTION ABOUT CLUSTER

    well for some reason my cluster isnt working no more, did a burn out hahaha and now, rpm, gas, and temp meters dont work no more....please tell me if anyone has ever had this situation before

    Check fuses. Never had this problem but that might be the solution.

    nope...all fuses are good, speedo works becuzz if runs a cable line lol....rpm is dead, gas meter, temp meter dead, dosnt work, only light i see when turned on is the cluster light, and battery light, no seat belt light, no check light and timer also and signals are not working but if i press the emergancy it turns on only....help me out fellas.....!

    Check your grounds, especially the one above the hood release.

    have you checked the plugs on the back of the cluster? One of mine fell out one day out of nowhere and caused the rpm and a few other problems.

    ummm never thought of that, ur talking about the ground for the fuse box it self correct, if so i didnt, im going to check that out.

    yeah i thought that was the problem, i checked it out first thing but it wasnt it, like it was working perfectly fine, only thing i remeber was doing a burn out take off and then parked the car and next day going to work, rpm is dead, my turn signals wouldn't go on.............im thinking it has to be a loose wire or a wire touch ground somewhere under the dash and fuse box.

    pull the cluster and and look at trace the wires and see if any are burned out.

    well i figure the cluster is dead old, found out a buddy of mines went through the same problem and he switched his with another one......so now anyone got one for sale holla back...!

    I had the same thing happen to me not long ago, turns out one of my turn signal wires had rubbed and shorted against the body.
