ATTN EF squad

ive been thinking about this for a while but as you may have seen our section has to be the most popluar of the local section of ia.

What does that mean??? Lots of ppl are checking us out from different forums as well as from the main board

We all are a cool bunch of ppl and get along very well on and off this board but i think we should change a few things we do on here so ppl dont get the wrong idea.

1 i think we should have alot more SERIOUS helpful threads going as well as not going so on every one that starts off that way as many of them have.

Im not saying stop having fun guys but do we really want to be looked at as the section that jokes around and offers no real advice to noobies as well as helpful threads??

Its just my .2 but thats what i want to shoot for

The threads that dare and jeff made were great i would love it if all of us would just make a thread with your sn as the title and just use that thread to update the squad on whatever you choose to share about your project dare could then sticky all of these threads that way we have some sort of order besides 30 threads with me, ben, dare, alan etc all going back and forth at each other i mean its funny and all but i just want more for our squad i want us to continue to STICK out from the pack that is ImportAtlanta

i think thats a terrific idea there, jermaine. the b.s.'ing should stay in the whorselounge as much as possible.

but i do agree alot of people look @ our section, and we need to do our best to not be the joke squad of IA, lol.

Naw...straight up, I agree with you to a point, but to another, I disagree.

The EF Squad has proven strong and seems to be here to stay (at least...the big hitters who have left and/or will be leaving are hoping so). Almost to the point we'd be considered a family. We're open and welcoming to anyone who stumbles into our area, and we've helped everyone that's posted up for some help no matter whether or not we go completely off topic. If someone wants real help, they can go to the General Tech section. Not to make Jaime stand out like a sore thumb, but we've already pushed our luck in making the EF Squad it's own version of IA, even though we're a part of IA. So what're we asking for...a general tech section of the EF squad, a classifieds section of the EF Squad...soon, we'll have our own RLD of the EF Squad where naked chicks are sprawled across EF's. (be careful with that btw...female juices can actually eat throw car paint).

All I'm saying is that the EF Squad needs to remain as the EF Squad. We're known for kicking back, having a good time, frequent meets (which we need to do another wild wings, soon). Those of us who wanna look at us and think "Hey, they seem alright" have always seemed to feel welcomed, and we've always welcomed them even if they don't come out to meets. Those who wanna look at us and take us as a joke...so what? If they take us as a joke, they're clearly not a part of, nor do they understand the EF Squad. The big hitters of IA have recognized us for what we are. A group of fun people who have SOME kind of interest in EF's (which is our common-ground) who are welcoming to anyone, and most all of which carry a connection (whether it be ice cream, or a body shop) and/or a skill. Some of us can paint, repair, JDM-out, know people at JHOT, etc etc.

We've already shown who and what we are amongst each other, and that's all that REALLY matters in the end. Everything posted gets an answer in the end...minus some OT lines.

Why do we wanna try and prove to ALL of IA that we are something? As stated...we've been recognized by some big hitters already. JaimeCBR, BTLFED...hell, we've even had QD come around every blue moon and has said more than:

"stfu, you're dumb"

And straight up...that's alot to brag for. Hell...even people like the EG and EJ and EK people wish they were like us SO much they tried starting their own section...and when they've failed, they come in here and TRY to make a mockery of us.

Again...we've proven our point to those that matter. Who and what more are we attempting to conquer?

its not a matter of trying to prove stuff to someone im not saying make the whole section completely serious im saying keep the bs to a min. a bit go back and click refresh on the ef section out of 20 threads started 2 of them are serious topics thats not saying alot we DONT need new members but we DO want new members that will make this a bigger section and better meets. Alan knows what i mean hell look at the ef meet we had hell everyone and their momma posted up but who showed up?? still great meet and there is no real reason why we didnt have a more dedicated showing it was planned months in advance! I guess i just have a diff. view on what i want out of the squad i want more EF help rather than BS help. I can go right now to a all ef site and 15 out of 20 threads are HELPFUL to me i can get my information and continue to browse through stuff i didnt know about.

If i invite someone to our section from another forum they will be like wtf? ok i see something about cheese, one about a guy leaving, ok here is a valid thread..... In Closing WE NEED MORE VALID THREADS. as much as i love the bs and laid back stuff we have in here i hate searching the net looking for ef stuff only to link it to ia i want that stuff already here!!!

i think he was saying we needs less "my car wont start" threads that are quite random , instead there should be a general tech section and the same for classifieds,

plus trying to do reserch in this section without any kind of order is quite time consuming

so basically, jermaine, are you trying to make this like an IA H-T...? lol cause thats kinda what it'd be like. it would be nice to have a section dedicated for general tech though, like seat swaps, engine swaps, lip kits, etc.

met some marines thatd been in coutry for a bit and will admit they were kinda odd wich they say go's away after youve been discharged

it just kinda freaked me out i guess plus i wasnt a big supporter of this war in the middle east
