Im hoping some of the EF People can help me on this one. I saw a pic of a car that was for sell, and now i cant find it. But The center console along with the console around the radio looked to be all one piece. But also did the dash look to be a differnt dash than what is in my 91 hatch. Anybody have and idea.

crx console is wut i think you're talking about... and you gotta have the rex dash and stuff...

the setup i'm talking about is using the hatch dash and the DC gsr center console....you just have to drill new holes, not that big of a project.



thats my dad's console in his EF, his is a little scuffed up, and doesn't line up as well as mine

You've gotta be more specific...

You like the look of the CRx dash/center, or the hatch dash/DA/DC center? (can't remember which one it is)

Well, the CRx setup is easy. Just take a look at the pictures of the inside of a CRx and look at how the dash/center console are set up...

If you wanna go with the integra center console, you can use your hatchback dash.

If you wanna go with the CRx console, you have to swap to a CRx dash. The CRx dash/console angles towards the driver.

However, the integra console IS a cheaper and easier way to go about having a center console. I went with the CRx just because it looks so much more like it belongs.

well im gonna get one of the integra consoles off ebay. Do i also get the console part around the cd player and air/heat controls

you SHOULD get the front and rear piece, meaning the part with the shifter boot and the cup holder and ash tray (they might **** you on those pieces and might have to buy them seperatly) and you get the arm rest....

make sure you get a manual one those, the holes on the autos are too big for a shifter boot to fit... i got an auto one sent to me before....jackass seller, lol

I did the CRX dash/console. I don't really like it. Sadly, I like the fact that the GSR console gets you cup holders. I could really use some cup holders...

Cuz I'm putting a rex dash in the new hatch, and I COULD use the one from the old hatch, but I don't wanna have to do two more dash swaps. Plus...since it's selling off, I don't really care what dash is in it. As for the new one, though...it's got a black hatch dash. If you've got a black rex dash, maybe we could trade up...?

That's a possibility. I'm wanting to go to black hatch dash since I did most of the interior swap.

Lookin' to hear from ya. The hatch dash is already pulled. The ONLY problem with it that I've found is the vinyl that goes over where a passenger side airbag would be...has come loose from the backing. It's not torn...just a bubble. Which is easy enough to fix.
