Idea: EF Squad Holiday Meet?
Well, gentleman, Alan and I were talking last night and threw around the idea of some sort of holiday meet. I know it'd be semi-rushed seeing as the holidays are quickly approaching, and everyone's schedule is filling. We originated a New Years idea, but that's one night out of the entire year, and I'd imagine several of ya'll have already thrown together plans...so we considered some sort of holiday meet.
Why? We're the EF Squad, and several of us are more like family than like friends/"some car club". Dare's formed some sort of family-like bond with just about everyone that is noted in the squad in the forums, I've bonded with dare, jermain, jfro, cato, alan, and a few others. Guy knows every person with paint on their car...and the southside out there in c-vill seem to hang pretty tight. Why not throw the idea of a holiday get together? It seems after the new year, many people are going to be off to bigger and better things...I think it's a ****ing fantastic idea...
So what do ya'll think?
My thoughts were that, yeah, a meet at a restaurant would be cool, but I think it'd be more fun and personal to get together at someone's house if they've got a big living room or something along the lines thereof, have people bring in some food items...or possibly get a big back-room in a restaurant. I mean apparently there was a great time had at cici's and the pizza place of the summer meet, but I think something closer and away from distractions would be more personal. In addition, I wouldn't call it required, but this could be something everyone could bring their girls/fiance/wives to.
So what do ya say? Shoot for mid-to-late december? Throw a holiday theme to it?
Let's quickly throw down some thoughts, opinions, and ideas so we can maybe make this thing happen...
