figured i make a random rant thread cause my farken seat belt alarm is driving me crazy ben and i were just talking about this how we both have to cut the car off just to get it to shut off.

2nd thing my windsheild wiper arm assembly thing until i shoved some paper in there the wipers would just turn on everytime i hit a bump -seems to be a common problem with our cars ive talked with a few other guys who have the same thing all used the paper shoving solution.

3rd was my corner light but my boy cato hooked me up so im all good now just need a new sig pic to show it off

i cut the sensor off my door so i have no seatbelt alarm..... but my interior lights won't come on

oh and no cupholders FTL, and 4spd FTL, and 35 mpg FTL, and no leg room FTL, and front wheel drive FTL

Most hatered? Engine....I've spent so much on it...Should of just swapped in a cheap ZC and ran it for a while, as I built up money for a B18C. But now that isn't practical.

Here is my list:

1) my car has the weirdest problems

a) speedometer in the S2k cluster does not work for an unknown reason
b) which causes Vtec to not engage because the ecu is not getting the proper
signal from the driver.
c) my spark plug wires re-arrange themselves while I'm sleeping.

2) i don't have enough time to fix the small things wrong with it.

The B18C would be for a daily driver, believe it or not.
I wouldn't care about racing it, just some little fun up in the moutains while being reliable.

If I was going to actually try and race the hatch, I'd swap in a K or better.
But thats not the case...I'll make my next car into a weekend warrior. Maybe a S2K.

...B18C is the jdm GSR if i remember correctly.

B18C came out of 2 cars:
94-97 GSR (180hp, 126tq)
96-00 ITR (200hp, 134tq)

I was looking at picking up the latter one. (both are JDM if I'm not mistaken)

Honda only used 4-digit engine codes in the homeland, so it could be either. if it had a red valve cover it's a type R, if it's a black valve cover with the two-stage GSR intake manifold, it was from an Integra SiR-G (JDM equivalent to a GSR).

after having my EF for over a year, i've come to the conclusion that there is only 1 thing that will get rid of the squeeks....

and that is a sound system

I love that my EF(with 210k miles on it) does NOT make any weird noises.

(I pride myself on that)

Only time it made a squeak was when I had the strut bars on. I installed them, drove about 10 minutes, heard the squeak, ****ing turned around and removed them as fast as I could.

My hatch is already slow, I will not allow it to make weird

noises.

well i would like to stop my damn seatbelt alarm from going off but i like my dome light so if anyone else has another method of stopping it im willing to try it as far as weird noises no mine doesnt do that only road noise from my tires but i just turn up the stero i wish it was a double din slot though single din FTL

cut the wires going to your seatbelt buckle or whatever, and splice them together.

....that's the ghetto rig way of doing it.

i cut them already but now it goes off weird like when someone opens the door and i have the car already running it will go off when the person puts on the seatbelt it stays going off so im just gonna wait till the meet to have someone help me with it

For the seatbelt buzzer, pull the door panel off, right above the seatbelt assembly there is a two pin connector. Unplug it

Have fun

1. The @#$@#$@#$ climate control made of ABS plastic that loves to break when my neighbor farts in the shower upstairs.. and the @#$@#$ thing costs like.. $280.. JEEZ

2. The mexican wiring job I had to undo when I bought the car(this is already fixed.. but jeez)

3. The 17 year old window regulators... sigh....

i have yet to try it i was knee deep in my 97 ls integra seat conversion for the car but i will def try it soon seems like once i put the ls seats in it hasnt gone off maybe it had something to do with the connectors attached to the seats

yeah having a jdm front with bumper pole, fresh paint, rare mugen mr7s,jdm rear seat, jdm b16 with tranny and a buddy club exhaust really does suck yeah i would hate to be in your place oh yeah and jdm crx seats

with my tranny and lightweight flywheel i can shift from 3rd to 5th at 3 grand and only drop to 2 grand and keep on cruisin
